I will agree, however, that the national media does have a tendency to shy away from gay adoption cases gone horribly wrong. Not that it is by any means an epidemic, but when something does go wrong, it is damaging to their agenda of saying that it is impossible for anything negative to happen.

Common sense. The national press is overwhelmingly liberal. It fits within the liberal agenda to promote gay adoptions. Therefore, stories such as this, albeit rare, are not reported except on a local level because they could negatively sway people who are undecided about the issue. That omission does everything possible to keep it under the rug.

Meanwhile, you can bet good money that you'll get wall-to-wall coverage of a little girl in Alabama that was abused by being forced to run until she dropped dead for breaking a stupid rule. The national press has no interest in holding their tongues about some stupid rednecks in the south that are probably filthy 'Teabaggers'.
