From what the initial account was (as relayed in the press), Zimmerman did not know what street he was on. So it's entirely possible that whatever he said in the 911 call was mistaken or based on that confusion. I don't see why it's doubtful that Zimmerman might not be telling the truth.[/quote] He wouldn't have had to do much to case houses and vehicles for burglary other than take a couple of steps off the sidewalk to look in cars. Look at the overhead views.
Because going to the store for Skittles and deciding to creepily stalk someone through the neighborhood are exactly equivalent.
They are equivalent in that they are both completely inadequate as justification for initiating physical violence.
It's out of sight in the upper left hand corner of this one. And Zimmerman specifically that there is no address for the "cut through". Do you see the cut through with the curve? That's where Martin ran and disappeared. Why did he not get further? Not really. The exchange is this.
You don't need to look at the overhead views to know that Martin might have been casing houses and vehicles. (Although Zimmerman does not say in his 911 call Martin was casing either, specifically. The behavior he accuses Martin of was looking like he was up to no good, looking like he was on drugs or something, putting his hand in his waistband, staring at Zimmerman and coming towards him, then running). Oh, incidentally, Zimmerman says he doesn't know the address he's parked at, according to this transcript. So attempting to use his account per this 911 call to show that Martin's girlfriend is wrong is extra misguided.
Wow. How absurd. Extra-special creamy saucy absurd because he swore an affadavit that he believed Zimmerman was lying BEFORE the media ever heard a word of this.
Right, because it would never occur to someone to cover their ass before the almighty fucking news media gets involved.
So he signed an affadavit to be used to help arrest someone he considered innocent because the media MIGHT get involved at a later date? Sure, ringo, sure. The guy thought he was lying to him, he said so. End of story.
Wow. So if Martin reasonably believed he was facing an imminent threat of force, he would have been perfectly justified in attacking Zimmerman, according to Florida law. Good info. Pfft. What would the actual investigating officer know about the case? He should check out this thread to get the real info.
Listen, you snide little asshammer. There are reasons other than media attention to get your dissenting opinion on record before the shitstorm rains down. The guy would have to be a complete moron not to see it coming.
Do we know Serino is a completely amoral shit stain? Because it takes a completely amoral shit stain to sign an affadavit that can help put someone behind bars because there's a small chance you might get media attention. On top of that, there's an average of a hundred or so justifiable homicides per year in Florida, and of course a lot more black kids are shot than that. So completely amoral shit stain combined with a bit of Nostradamus. Not buying it unless there's some shred of proof he didn't believe what he was signing. So far there's none of that.
I'm not saying that this is what happened, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time someone saw what was possibly coming and decided to cover his ass so he could later say "Don't blame ME! I voted for Kodos!"
Man this circus is just getting worse maybe we'll be lucky and someone will try to collect the Black Panthers bounty, get the right address from Spike Lee and go and kill Zimmerman and this mess will be over with.
According to the transcript, he tells the officers to go straight past the clubhouse, make a left and he would be by the mailboxes. I could be mistaken, but it seems like he is directing the officers to come up Twin Trees Road, take a left there and meet him near what I'm taking to be the north side of the clubhouse. If the gate is such that they would be coming in on Retreat View Drive, taking a left after passing the club house (which is what he directs them to do) would put them in a different area than where Sandbagger said the truck was. If the officers would come in from the east on Retreat View Drive, passing the clubhouse and then taking a left would have Zimmerman some distance west of the spot where Sandbagger said Zimmerman is. If the officers came in from the west, turning left after passing the clubhouse would put Zimmerman north on Twin Trees, above where Sandbagger said Zimmerman ended up.
What?...that's the end game people are demanding throw Zimmerman in jail were he'll be killed by an inmate whose either getting revenge for Trayvon or really thinks the Black Panthers will give him a Million bucks. I'm just saying the sooner Zimmerman's dead the sooner this sideshow is over.
1) No need for any more life to be lost 2) You don't like the sideshow, turn off the TV and go outside 3) The retard comment is more of a cumulative thing
Someone on a talk radio show had a good point: Zimmerman is (approximately) half white, half Hispanic. If he shoots a black, he's a white man killing a minority. If he wins the Nobel Prize, he's a Hispanic. Ouch!
If Zimmerman is killed because of the reward, that'll start a whole new shitstorm as the NBP member responsible goes on trial for capital murder.
HA! That Spike Lee shit was awesome. Hey, Fuckface.....focus on making movies and leave the geography to the experts.
I called it back on Page 2. And on Page 3. And on Page 6. I've mentioned very early and repeatedly in this thread that Politics could be a motivator in the lack of an arrest warrant being issued. If I could see it coming, the State Attorney and Investigators could see it too.
Supposedly there is now a video floating around of Zimmerman at the police station that shows that he has no injuries and no grass stains on his jacket. I haven't seen it yet. Just heard it described.
In a case like this where the issue isn't as clear cut as it might be in a home invasion or burglary where things are much better defined, it can reasonably be expected that the investigator is going to punt and let the Grand Jury decide whether or not to indict. And if they don't indict, then politically, everyone's ass is covered.(At least, as far as everyone's ass CAN be covered.)
Update: Video surveillance shows no blood or bruises after the incident which Zimmerman alleges was an assault on him. Things that make you go hmmmm: http://abcnews.go.com/WN/trayvon-ma...orge-zimmerman/story?id=16022897#.T3OusNXYE7W
Was there a grassy knoll? Anyway grass does not automatically stain a fabric as soon as it touches it as we know. Besides, it's been mentioned Martin was banging his head on the sidewalk and if that is where he went down then the possability exists that the grass on his jacket was just grass he rolled in. It takes a good scrape in the grass for a stain. Wouldn't be surprised if there actually wasn't one.
Just curious: Would they bring someone to a police station bloody, or would they clean them up due to teh aidz? And how long do bruises take to show up?
