2 day old threads on the first page.

Only seven threads posted in in the last hour.

Well, maybe it's not dead...but it's on life support or something.

Will WF be around in five years? Or will it be like TK? :tk:

It's one of the few summers I can remember without some dumbass drama, and most of the trolling that I have seen is in the context of debating and such. Quality over quantity, but that's just me.

On the contrary, it's clear that only banning Packard will get us out of these doldrums!

It's not the activity so much as it's agreement among the majority of participating members.

What did you expect to happen when you disregarded everyone's wishes and changed the rep system, then banned or ran off all the interesting posters.

    Blame yourselves.

Who's gone besides Tasvir...who earned his ban, btw, everyone else is still here in some capacity or another.

Rep hasn't changed anything except a certain subset of people cry it's gone.

Waay too many idiot lefties posting too much nonsense drivel to willingly expose myself to, and not enough hot chicks showing bewbies.

There are better places to get info and better sources of what the left "thinks" than our standard bearers type here, and anyway most of them are pretty lame, unentertaining, unimaginative, and uninteresting. :P

Weeeeeeeeell..... I must admit.... The op is right.

WF was far more agile before rep was neutered. Rep really seemed to be important for some (former) regulars here... Where's Scorpy, for example? Sokar? At least Muad is back.

    :repwhine:

Give me -1000 rep and get back to the old system! ;) I take one for the team!

During my time away from WF I haven't been to any boards that use the rep system, but I've often found myself wishing for a quick agree/disagree button because making a whole new post to say "I agree" is often pointless.

I go to a few that have rep, but have never seen neg-rep anywhere else. By the way there's an argument to be made against having rep at all, specifically because lazy folks like you, who would rather just rep and fly off, contribute less to the discussion than they would if forced to make an actual post.

What a pleasant way to put it. It isn't laziness on my part, it's about wasted effort. Why needlessly add to post count unless I actually have something beyond simple agreement to add? I try to think before every post and ask if it is worth posting; will it add to the conversation? If the answer is no, why post?
