Wow!! very good DLC, IMHO. Not "Lair of the Shadowbroker" good, but certainly "Project Overlord" good or even better! The information in this DLC will fundamentally change the lore of the Mass Effect Universe. I highly reccomend it!!
still debating it since i just pre-ordered Borderlands 2, but it's good to know it's been vetted by a fellow WFer
I think this DLC took me about 2.5 - 3 hours to complete... at $10, that makes it comparable to a trip to the local cineplex, only no concessions. I'd like some feedback from some others.
If you haven't already, I suggest you pick up The Citadel DLC. It is Bioware's goodbye to Commander Shepard and crew. It is laced with humor and action and culminates in a party that you throw at your new apartment on The Citadel. I know it sounds corny, but it actually works and I actually ended up with a lump in my throat. With that done, I went back to Mass Effect's multiplayer and after an entire year, it holds up. I'm in the middle of my "definitive" playthrough if the trilogy and wow... What a ride. I hope that the next game set in this universe is as engaging. This really is my favorite franchise this generation.
Wing commander was the best from the nineties had the same feel as the me games or dragon age. Bioware needs to make a new wing commander game.
Loved this DLC, some right funny moments in it And Bioware and Chris Hudson have stated that there will be another Mass Effect game, but it wont involve Sheppard. I think they will start a new trilogy. It could be set after the last Mass Effect, it could be set before it. I think the 'first contact war' might be an interesting setting.
I hope the next trilogy occurs post ME3. After Gears of War Judgement and God of War Ascension, I'm of the mind that prequels in video games don't really work... Even less so than movies and TV shows.
In general I would agree, but playing Halo: Reach made me rethink how telling the prequel story can make the actual trilogy more engaging.
