He last posted on Oct 3rd so it has been 10 days. On the upside I can take him off ignore since he is not posting anyway.

It is not that your statement is unfriendly, but rather your supposed friendship with chup is abusive and dysfunctional. You do not just disagree, you seriously attack each other. You are clearly finding your place in the relationship as the verbal punching bag for chup and taking comfort in the idea that chup needs you to abuse. That is not friendship, that is being a doormat because even you know how worthless you are to others.

Just a quick post because a couple of people have asked me to come back, but I can't do so for reasons of principle. If I come back I would be mocked and derided for not being able to stay away. "Too desperately to not post, etc"

I like posting on WF and miss it. But I won't post for the reasons I said before. I must say though that I find it amusing that the architect of my downfall, @Captain X is crying about poor modding when he was happy top use it to his advantage.

Oh, and @Dayton3's post here I hope confirms that you idiots that take board behaviour off board (Hi @RickDeckard, @gul, etc *waves*) are a bit silly. I'd like to think that the likes of @markb, @ecky and others can confirm that I'm a reasonable chap.

This is so common to message boards it is a reliable fact. Most people are either smarter than chup and realize you are not going to win the "take away this mods powers or I am going to pout" game, or they are oblivious to their grandstanding and come back to the abuse of the people on the board. Chup is so caught up in his image that he cannot admit to losing, and he so needs his identity here that he just cannot go away.

Don't worry, he will come back. He is looking for an excuse. It will probably come when one of his friends like @markb gets overly insulted and then he will have to come back to help out his friend against all the people who hate him because that drama is going on in his mind. He is looking for a reason and that is why he still reads this place. Of all the boards I have been permabanned from I never came back for a rant like this. I actually left and found new places to go. I may someday leave here, not be banned from here Anna, and I won't come back and stir the pot like this because I am doing something else. The thing about being strong enough to fly away is you actually have to fly away, and chup is not doing that. He is just being quiet in the hall hoping someone will give him a proper reason to come back in.

If I were really to think about it his friends are being shit on by him because their company is clearly less important to him than gul's moderator status, and that would seem to place them in the position of pawns here.
