Yes she can. Any former government official can be impeached. That's so they can't take the money and run.

Realistically, Hillary Clinton can get impeached because Jason Chaffetz, when he got spectacularly drunk in a momentary lapse of faith, thought he saw her tickling his cat.

And even more realistically, a Republican House will impeach a President Clinton on a basis even flimsier and more ridiculous than that.

Actually, they're going to impeach her for crimes more serious than all previous Presidents combined. Did you ever wonder how she accumulated hundreds of millions of dollars in personal wealth by running a "charity" while she was simultaneously Secretary of State?

So why are top Democrats and media people losing their fucking minds?

It's because all kinds of evidence is surfacing, and evidence is what a prosecutor uses to get convictions.

And it's not just a bunch of legal maneuvers. The public is also seeing the evidence pour out and what it's revealing is massive and widespread corruption and collusion. Thus Hillary's polls are in free fall and her levels of "trust" are plummeting. She is a criminal at the head of a criminal syndicate, plain and simple. The e-mails are identifying all her co-conspirators.

It is much, much worse than Watergate, which was a simple burglary to plant a bug.

And the Democrats are losing their fucking minds and ranting like crazy people.

The writing is on the wall.

The FBI is even looking at Bill Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich. That's a signal that they're willing to send everyone to federal prison.

Seems more like a signal that they're so desperate, they're starting to reach back 15+ years for their smear jobs.

I guess we're supposed to look at a screenshot of Clinton winning five states and assume that Trump is winning all the ones it doesn't show. You know, like Massachusetts, Minnesota, California and Hawaii.

No, they're reaching back 16 years to make a bribery case. Bribing a governor for a pardon, or accepting a bribe for a pardon, is a crime. Tennessee governor Ray Blanton got to acquaint himself with prison after his pardon scandal, and to keep him from granting more pardons for cash Lamar Alexander was sworn in early.

The question is why they'd reach back 16 years - after coincidentally having a ton of insider e-mails dump in their lap. :storm:

Any semblance of a Presidency she might have had is already over. Even if she wins she'll be less effective than Obama's lame duck period and will face a legal onslaught unprecedented in scope and scale. The government will be effectively crippled until she's removed.

While you're right about the onslaught, let's not pretend that Republicans in Congress need anything approaching a real reason in order to launch investigation after investigation. It's their way of trying to do in the hearing room what they couldn't do at the polls.

Note that it's also their way of doing in the hearing room what they can't do in the courtroom since no actual crimes were committed. Except, of course, by Trump, who commits fraud as easily as he breathes, and by certain factions of the FBI that leak like a sieve and abuse power for partisan purposes.

In case you're not keeping up, Hillary has committed enough felonies to get sentenced to about 14,000 years in federal prison.

they are basically running the same playbook they ran in the 90's:

Blow millions on investigations that prove no wrongdoing, then spend years claiming the fact that she was investigated proves she was corrupt.

Same song second verse going on now, with Chaffez as the poster boy.

most likely it's a single source of polls and not an average, something like Rasmussun for example - Virginia isn't a toss-up by anyone's definition in the averages.

    Come on man....

Think these things through before you post.....

Do you really think un-following Hillary would in any way shield Obama and the others from the shit-storm that would erupt?

#1 She absolutely can be forced out for things she did before becoming President. The Constitution says, "The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." Note it does not say what time frame these actions had to have occurred.

#2 Nixon would have been forced out no matter what. The country doesn't like cover-ups and the Democrats had enough House members to impeach him and enough Senators (Democrats and Republicans) to convict and remove him from office. But let's go with your economic theory; right now the economy sucks. It isn't doing well and there are signs that regardless of who becomes POTUS next week that things will get worse.

#3 Bill Clinton was only able to avoid conviction in the Senate because the Republicans were chicken-shits who concentrated on the affair and ignored his perjury. Hillary will not get that chance since the circumstances of this case would be wildly different then what happened to Bill Clinton. Hillary faces the actual possibility of a criminal indictment.

He's a leftist. They don't care that the people up top are criminals. As long as they are leftist criminals they are cool with it.
