Is Trump stupid enough to commit blackmail on Twitter? Yes, yes he is. Start the impeachment paperwork.
It is going to be hard to walk that one back. He just handed them an admission to obstruction of justice. Dumbest asshat ever.
And if they aren't, we immediately need a new investigation into these alleged shady dealings by the fucking director of the fucking FBI!
It's okay! Because Trump's lawyers just said he has absolutely no ties to Russia "except a few exceptions". Y'know, like OJ never killed anyone, except for his wife and that guy.
I've already had a Trumpster on Facebook tell me that his tweets griping about the Electoral College in 2012 were faked; it's only a matter of time before they start just reflexively denying this one too...
It's not fake. And a representative from the Nixon library has already responded saying something to the effect that Trump had better be the one to worry if there are tapes.
Completely ignoring the basic fact that there is nothing illegal about the Russians (or any foreign government attempting to influence American elections nor is there anything illegal about a candidate or a party cooperating or using foreign resources to influence an American election.
Yes, I know it's real. But this is sort of a real world version of "How is this not a 'NotDayton' post?"
And a "library representative" would be a constitutional law expert? IIRC, the Nixon library gives pretty short thrift to the Watergate Scandal.
What do you think Trump is protecting? My bet is on something related to this: http://www.fec.gov/pages/brochures/foreign.shtml#Soliciting_Accepting_Receiving
You know I've taught units on crime several times but I'll freely admit that computer crime is not one of my specialities.
No. It was more along the lines of motive, opportunity, and method. Plus special units on serial killers and execution methods. Real interesting for the guys in class. Girls didn't like it so much.
Speaking of raisins...fun fact. The .gov confiscates a third of the U.S. raisin crop every year...because raisins.
Many. Though for one the presence of one or especially several high profile serial killers operating can dramatically drive up the publics perception of the murder rate and the dangers they face in society thus ramping up support for stronger law enforcement efforts and of course the death penalty.
