I'd explode too. No Giuliani. Chris Christie? Way too many skeletons in the closet. I still say Trey Gowdy.
If you fire the head of an investigation because they are investigating wrong doing by the administration then that is text book obstruction of justice. Trump was a fool to walk into this.
Rosenthal specifically did NOT recommend Comey to get fired. He wrote the letter at the specific request of Jeff Sessions and was told to "find a reason". This is with in days of Comey expanding the investigation, changing from weekly to daily updates, and telling Rosenthal there was possible evidence of Trump-Russia collision in the hacking.
As John McCain recently said "there are many shoes yet to drop on this". At the very least there is grounds for a special prosecutor.
Oh, they can say it, but they have no way of proving it. This is a campaign of speculation & innuendo being playing out in the sympathetic liberal media. It's easy to insinuate things and then when pressed for details hide behind the excuse "I can't answer that question because it's an ongoing investigation."
Says the butthurt failed presidential candidate who wishes he were sitting in the Oval Office, who hates Trump and has been undermining Trump's campaign since day #1. The only thing you need to know about McCain is that he wanted Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency.
Funny how Dems are in love with the idea of special prosecutors these days. What was their opinion during the days of Ken Starr, Whitewater, and Lewinsky?
He can't, and neither can I, and that would be relevant if we were on a jury. We're not. You look for evidence first. That's why you have investigations, and why you don't interfere with them.
You'd think K was of the opinion that folks here had no understanding of how politics work. Investigations are launched in order to discredit the other team and cast a shadow over their agenda, not because you think you're going to find any legitimate evidence of wrongdoing. It's meant to distract from the other team's message. You actually think anyone in the FBI is still investigating Hillary's emails?
Talk about a man child! http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/11/politics/trump-time-magazine-ice-cream/index.html Trump orders that he gets two scoops of ice cream with dessert but that everyone else only gets one. This fits perfectly with the angry man-child who reacts impulsively according to his ego without thinking anything through. Thus the angry unscripted tweets at 3am and impulsively firing the guy who is investigating Trump's criminal wrong doing. This guy is a walk psych study.
Looks like the FBI is raiding a fundraising/consulting firm in Annapolis. A few sources are saying that there's a pending RICO case against Reince Preibus and others, possibly including Paul Ryan, but it hasn't yet been substantiated by mainstream sources.
Also, Trump has admitted that he was going to fire Comey regardless of any recommendations from deputy AGs, contradicting earlier statements from the White House. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ated-the-white-houses-entire-comey-narrative/
Getting rid of the FBI Director has no impact on existing investigations. It isn't like Comey or any other director does the investigating himself.
A couple of days before the election. They closed it, reopened just before the election, then closed it again. Thus the source of why people said Comey influenced the election.
That's like saying "funny how Republicans are in love with the idea of passing bills these days. What was their opinion when they were voting no on bills back in 2009?" Even you should be embarrassed by that kind of kindergarten logic.
