Also worth noting, the ad I saw while watching The Bold and the Beautiful had a rating of TV MA, so DSC can show off the full moon, if you know what I mean.
It's a joke, Dayton But yeah, I'm sure you remember the way Enterprise fans went bananas over the prospect of seeing T'Pol's whole ass when she banged Trip. Maybe now with a full MA rating, we'll get full fucking so the writers can get their jollies off in one shot and far, far fewer of episodes like ANISB, Let He Who Is Without Sin and Sub Rosa.
I don't remember much about Enterprise fans. What I do remember about them was: 1) Them going crazy over the casting of Bakula as Captain Archer. "We've got an established genre actor in the lead now!" 2) A bunch of people who for some reason were ecstatic about the boring British actor/character. Even calling themselves "Reed Ragers" IIRC. 3) The weird group of prepubescent males who seemed to think the actress playing T'Pol was hot. Give me a break.
To me, Terry Ferrell and Nana Visitor were both more exotic looking and hotter than Blalock. In my opinion, Blalock was more "cover girl". That is she only looked good when elaborately made up to advertise clothes or make up or some magazine cover. I just couldn't envision her as being all that appealing if you met her in person. Ferrell and Visitor (or even Sirtis) I could see that. That too me is always what makes some women appealing and some not. If you can actually imagine by some stretch encountering them in real life. Whether on the beach, shopping, at a convention, wherever.
I'm a bit late on this, but here's the crew pic with names so you can start memorizing before the premiere.
Tyler and Tilly are both T, and both copper, so this iteration's versions of redshirts. And Stamets and Saru are S-es, and silver. If that helps any.
She doesn't seem to have gone "more Vulcan than Vulcans" from the trailers. Spock and Worf both did though.
