I'm aware of all of this, but we all know Superman is not dead, so why not show him? They can still surprise us with GL.
If you watched BvS, you should know he's alive, otherwise what was the point of the dirt floating on the coffin?
Yes, but most filmgoers are at best casual superhero fans and may not remember or even have seen prior films. And even though I know what's going to happen, I'd prefer the actual moment not be spoiled.
I can remember people bitching about Gandalf the White showing up in the trailers because they had no idea that he survived the previous movie.
I think that's a pretty good length. It's not too short, nor too long. The Avengers was two hours 23 minutes, and that felt right for a team action movie. Age of Ultron was 2 minutes shorter. If there's a longer cut available--a la BvS--I'll look forward to it on the Blu-Ray.
Indeed. I like the theatrical version of BvS. But the extended cut is a classic of the genre. It may be my favorite superhero movie of all time. It's certainly up there.
"Superman The Movie", Easter egg in "Justice League", revealed in new trailer. Even the address is a spoiler, so...spoiler tag.
Richard Donner literally passes the baton to Patty Jenkins. http://www.cbr.com/richard-donner-passes-baton-to-patty-jenkins/
I am cautiously (VERY cautiously) optimistic that I am going to enjoy this film. They have finally proven (via Wonder Woman) that they ARE capable of making a decent flick, so I am hoping for the best with Justice League.
Zachary Levi is Shazam. ...no idea, never watched Chuck. http://www.darkhorizons.com/zachary-levi-to-play-dcs-shazam/
While Chuck was great, IMO Levi is way overrated. He was perfectly typecast for one role; that doesn't make him an actor. But seriously, I think you would love Chuck. It takes about half a season to find its legs, becoming more than just endearingly silly eventually.
The blonde bully from "Stranger Things 2", might be Nightwing. http://comicbook.com/dc/2017/11/05/stranger-things-2-dacre-montgomery-nightwing/
It's suitably epic, but it's not "hummable." There's nothing in there that's really a "theme." That's a problem I have with a lot of Elman's more recent themes. As I mentioned above... ...and Elfman's definitely recycling his earlier theme at the beginning of this clip... ...so I hope they...
Actually, I hope they save the 70's WW theme for WW2 set in the 80's. They need to get the Lynda Carter cameo in there too.
Justice League had a good test screening. https://www.cbr.com/justice-league-test-screening-wonder-woman/ I think they're gonna follow the pattern of Wonder Woman; test screening, critic screening with social media reviews allowed before full reviews, and if the social media response is good, they move the embargo date up earlier.
