Idealism isn't a dirty word, and anyone who says this amount or that amount is too much needs to show their work. So far, the structural and financial burdens have been met, and the economic integration has been going much faster than anyone predicted. The cultural integration will only be certain after a generation, of course, but with all the other factors in place, chances are better than they would be otherwise.

Which leaves the reaction of the populace. It is true that the alt-right movement likes to point at immigration and uses immigrants as a spectre of all that is evil in the world. But I am not convinced that limiting exposure to foreign cultures is the answer. In the long run, successfully integrating 1.5 million people might very well be the best argument we can make for an integrative culture.

I'm as big a trump disser as anyone, but "see" and "invisible" in this case I think means invisible to radar and other detection methods. He says lots of stupid things, that isn't one of them.
