Patriots owner busted for solicitation

Ever considered that Kraft might've done this on purpose?

Kraft is all about winning the next Super Bowl. This last season the Patriots come out of the regular season looking distinctively mediocre with only an 11-5 record. After the wild card round of the remaining 8 teams in the playoffs they were widely considered the least likely to win the Super Bowl.

But stoked by QB Tom Brady and the coaches rhetoric about the Patriots not getting any respect and being underrated by everyone, the Patriots reel off three great performances and take home another Super Bowl.

Kraft sees how the entire "worlds against us" thing worked this year so he goes and makes a stupid "mistake". High profile embarrassing charge that he knows the commissioner can't ignore or hush up.

So Roger Goodell slaps Kraft with a 5 million dollar fine and a bunch of verbal reprimands. Going into the 2019 season the Patriots are highly motivated by the "attacks" on their beloved owner and go out and tear the league a new one on the field.

It's not inconceivable that after it's all said and done that Kraft is forced to sell the team.

when you are a billionaire you can afford the world's best lawyer/judge/jury so you would tend to get spoiled over time.

That was my first thought as well, until the bit about underage girls came out. I'd been thinking: why would this guy go to some crappy little strip mall massage parlor in south Florida when he owns the Patriots?

If the answer is that he's a pedo, it makes a helluva lot more sense.

He'll have his day in court. We'll see what comes of it, but if he was molesting kids he needs to spend the rest of his sorry ass life in federal 'pound me in the ass' prison.

Yeah, in a culture where kitty-diddlers are considered the lowest form of scum, Kraft believed he could use this to better the Patriots' image.

If I were a widowed billionaire, you'd better believe I'd be dating young women too. Among other activities.

If there are underaged and/or trafficked women involved, that's a big problem. But solicitation itself should not be a crime. And if prostitution were a legal, regulated, transparent industry, everyone involved could more easily avoid the unethical stuff.
