The official release date is November, and at some point there will be a Kanye West episode. No shit. https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/2019/05/17/kanye-west-rick-morty-episode-season-4/
They’re already working on season 5 and have released some images from season 4. http://collider.com/rick-and-morty-season-4-episode-count/
I did notice at animazement that you really want to avoid rick and Morty fans and cosplayers. They make Stephen universe fans look good. Not all of them are terrible, but just based on statistics you really want to send the most useless member of your group over to talk to them first so you can cut and run if he gets sucked in and cannot escape the stench cloud. I don't really understand why some ok shows attract toxic fans, but this one has some of the worst. I pity the unprepared fans at dragoncon. Cons were so nice when bronies invaded. Why can't all fandoms be composed of considerate and pleasant people who dress up in pastel plush pony costumes?
same reason as there are so many Deadpools and slutty Harley's... or jesters at a ren fair, for that matter. people's default nature is douchebag.
It is less of a matter of out of place as them being destructive, prone to stupid behavior, and generally lacking in intelligent conversation. It is the people who confuse random with stupid. They do have one benefit of being prone to hurting themselves due to suggestion.
We have our first clip from season 4. It’s Morty, his dad, and an alien voiced by a guy who directed some Thor movie. I think it was Thor Rappinoi or something like that. Anyway, some kind of low-budget thing that had washed up actor Jeff Goldblum and is completely unknown outside of a small cult following. https://www.theverge.com/2019/7/19/...san-diego-comic-con-justin-roiland-dan-harmon
They must have done some last-minute editing as they dropped in a reference to the pandemic at one point in the episode.
most of this season has been kind of meh for me. Like there's no more joy in making it anymore... I think this last episode was saying as much.
Really? I really enjoyed the one with the dragon and Rattlestar Ricklactica. The one where Morty went all “Akira” was pretty dope too. I think they have a lot of steam left.
Spencer Grammer (Summer's VA) got slashed in the arm and a friend was stabbed in the back while trying to break up an altercation. Glad to hear both will make full recoveries.
At least I will get to listen to all the toxic fans melting down about how they ruined their lives by destroying the show. Maybe they will make the new rick a black drag queen and I can listen to the glorious sounds of heads exploding.
Rick & Morty is all about exploring the fucking multiverse. If Rick can be a fucking pickle, he can have a new voice. How many times has Tom Servo on MST3K had his voice chip reprogrammed? Less than 10, more than 0 last time I checked.
Rick's consciousness is on at least it's third human body since the show started, it'd be nothing for him to jump into another one that sounds a little different.
So it could actually be cannon that in some universe there is a rick that is a trans black woman and that is the rick we end up followinmg and we could get Laverne Cox doing the voice? Please universe, make this so. I might even watch the show. You know you want to.
