Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

It would be bringing Star Wars into the real world if not only was Jar Jar the real hero of the movie, but people actually liked the character and the film. If people could like Jar Jar and see him as a hero, it would be a small hop to see how Luke could forgive his father.

No emotional investment in any of these half-assed characters, therefore I care nothing for what happens to them, and consequently care nothing for what may happen in this movie.

3PO's dialogue before his memory is wiped has more emotional heft than anything else that has happened in the previous two movies. Of course, it's yet another instance of a beloved original trilogy character being "killed."

I'll take Lucas's prequel trilogy over this dreck all day long.

The only real suspense is whether Lando, Chewie, R2, or any other OT character will make it out of this flick alive, since Disney is bound and determined to kill off everything except their SJW diversity hire characters.

Yup, they're ripping off the ending of The Exorcist, where the demon jumps into Father Carras and he throws himself out the window. Palpatine will attempt to possess Kylo in a similar fashion.

I just saw RLM did a Re:View of the Exorcist 3. I haven’t seen that one, but it looks good.

When did C3-PO become friends with them? I don't remember any part of that in the last two movies. He must only be talking about Chewbacca and R2-D2. Also mind wiping him is killing the character.

When did Rey and Leia find time to bond to the point they shed tears?

Let me guess the plot.....

Palpy who was looking for the secrets to immortality concocted a plot way back before Phantom Menace to make the Sith and the Jedi practically extinct in order for the force to pick two "useful idiots" to be very powerful and come together so he could somehow suck the force out of them and become immortal. He started the clone wars to start the Empire and wipe out the Jedi. He purposefully fucked up running the empire so the rebels would win. He wanted Vader to kill him so he used Luke to get under Vader's skin and that was the point of the force lightening in ROTJ. He wasn't trying to kill Luke. He was trying to get Vader to finally commit back to the light side. He wanted Vader to go to the good side and rescue Luke. He faked his death and he's been hiding out in the universe pulling the strings behind the First Order waiting for Rey and Kylo to get to the business of coming together so he could finally complete his grand plan. The entire Star Wars saga was just one long con job by Palpatine to gain immorality.
