Seems to me that some folks don't understand how the Hollywood machine works.

3PO will be asked to decipher text on an ancient Sith artifact, text written in an ancient Sith language (ripping off the Council of Elrond scene in FOTR).

3PO isn't able to do it because someone at some time restricted his programming from interpreting Sith languages. However, he is brought to a programmer who can hack into 3PO and remove the restriction.

Only, it comes at a cost. In order to remove the restriction, his entire system has to be rebooted, which means a total memory wipe.

So, 3PO gets his memory wiped for the second time in the SW saga, effectively "killing" yet another classic OT character.

Naw, it'll be a fake out.
He'll seem to get wiped, but the Falcon will turn out to be sentient (from L3's mind in there), and have backed him up, but at the sacrifice of L3.

I hope it moves, then. My main complaint about TLJ wasn't the story itself but how the movie was paced. The previous film felt like a slog and I hope they don't make the same mistake again.

Visually, this movie looks good, but we know JJ and co. is all style and no substance.

Jar Jar confirmed. Featured heavily in Episode I, it only makes sense to feature him heavily in Episode IX as a bookend to close out the trilogy of trilogies. It's like poetry.
