White nationalism has actually taken root in some Orthodox communities.

The public is aware of lots of evidence of trump lies including his constant contradictions in public speaking. The problem with this is it does not fall under proof that would convict him of perjury in a court of law. If they could use this as cause for a search warrant to get a hold of any documentation of trump knowledge then we would have a clear cut case of trump lying under oath about that. If the DOJ was not run by a trump lackey who would never authorize such an investigation it would be nice.

I am thinking having the AG appointed and under the command of the president and political structure shows a real weakness in the US government. It seems one of the weaknesses of the three branches as they were established is giving the power of investigation and prosecution to the same people who control legislation and it's approval. Maybe we do it backwards where the judicial should be empowered with investigation and prosecution. Having the executive be responsible for investigation and prosecution of the executive or congress being responsible for investigation of the executive despite being subject to political forces seems to be really fucked.

Not terribly surprising when a main base of orthodox belief systems is them being the chosen ones. They are already running on a belief system that uses supremacy as part of their dogma. when you realize that sects of orthodoxy are often tribal and using religious works to justify their leadership we see that racial superiority becomes part of that to keep outsiders out.

This is not new, nor is it specifically WASP. We see it in the tribal differences of Islam. It is certainly in the hebrew system where you need to have a certain genetic similarity to get ahead in the orthodox jewish sects. It is seen in hindu and buddhist sects also. Even pagan witchcraft has it's areas where it separates due to geographical differences which end up conforming to racial differences.

I would say this is more of a psychological aspect of orthodox viewpoints and the mentality of supremacy they embrace.

Assholes does sort of take it off topic when you are being specific to a chain of psychological thought. A person who puts themselves above others is subject to certain thought patterns. Humility and respect for others runs contrary to their narcissism and self image. People who go down these roads have a flawed sense of self importance. Often they are aware of this on a subconscious level which is why they often create lies and delusions to support that view. When you think about the reality of most of our lives we screw up and run into people who best us. So the person who has to be special has to find some way to justify that.

When you really have no special great traits to make your pedestal from you invent them. This leads to things like birthright, religion, and skin color. Organized religion's main purpose is mostly a false narrative to delude one's self into thinking they are special in the eyes of god despite the reality we face that we really do not matter in the grand order of the universe, and most of time even within our own society. This is not to say that the spiritual quest to understand your environment and how you fit is wrong, but that the answers are not that we really matter in the grand scheme of things al that much.
