The last time I can remember actually being upset over something on wordforge was way back in the day when Nova was Shep and was arguing for why gay people shouldn’t be able to adopt. That conversation hit me a little hard. ‘‘Twas a really long time ago, though.

my son's best friend is a bit over 300 pounds, with other health issues (MRSA for one) and smokes, never exercises, and drinks - but what 30 year old doesn't? I've never met one yet. Anyway bariatric surgery might be something he could look into before it's too late. My son has tried & failed many times to get him to exercise & practice portion control but to no avail.

I don't despise anyone here. It's amusing to me the spectrum of posters who feel threatened by me, though.
There's a group of women who are veterans of the Yorkville scene that live in my 'hood. They're all our tribal grannies, of course. Still active and making their patch of the planet a nicer place when they aren't out being 70ish 20 somethings... I always imagine you'd fit right in with them.
And look at how many people here have evolved and changed. Unlike @Marso, who's become more ossified over the years, and has apparently taken his ball and gone home. Let's keep this thread going in a direction he never anticipated!
