mainly that there's not much they'll be able to do with the series after he completes the quest to hand off Baby Yoda.
Also that Pascal is correct that the helmet thing is unnecessary to the show or story and can be dropped as part of the plot development.
Finally that if he does quit for whatever reasons, that it appears they are introducing Bo Katan, Sabine and Ahsoka with the epilogue of Rebels being picked up as the new McGuffin, it'd still be about Mandalorians. (and cause exploding chudhead, everywhere)

    Couldn't disagree more.

I have zero interest in seeing a Mandalorian without their helmet.

Pascal knew what he signed up for.

He can go fuck a bantha, if the rumour is true.

    Plus, he'd be easily replaceable.

Yeah the helmet makes it. I have no problem with it coming off occasionally but Mandolarians need damn helmets

It seems their whole religion is body armour

other than the sewer cult of what appear to be escaped Maul supporters, when has the helmet rule ever existed?

Not like Bo or Sabine will be adhering to that particular aspect of "the way" either...

I agree with Ten that the lid does complete the character... but all the time is getting kinda stupid to justify.

No real matter... without the puppet, he's unnecessary to whatever direction the show takes.

Fuck Bo and Sabine. They're interesting characters but in my head canon, I actually don't consider them Mandalorian.

This is a different show. The Mandalorians in this show are different. They're clearly more interesting.

In a nutshell, you don't fuck with a winning formula.

    It's a fanmade trailer.

I should have spotted it right away, but I knew it as soon as I saw the shot of Boba Fett from ROTJ.

They keep showing that ice planet with the giant gash in it. In Jedi:Fallen Order you visit a planet that looks very similar, it’s called Ilum. On that planet is a Jedi temple and the Empire is building something huge there. It’s speculated that it’s the Starkiller base. I’m thinking they are going to confirm that both planets are one in the same and that it is in fact the Starkiller base.

Even if it isn't Ilum, Ilum is the prime source of Khyber crystals that power lightsabers, the Death Star and likely Starkiller.

    Honest trailer for season 1.
(They take a couple little digs at sequel-haters, so I'm happy :diacanu:)

I just watched the first episode of Season 2. It was okay, but not quite up to the awesomeness of the first season premier. It felt more like a TV episode and less cinematic that previous episodes, which is disappointing considering Jon Faveau directed it.

    The Good:
    Timothy Oliphant
    John Leguizamo
    The Sandworm
    The "Mandalorian" armor
    The cameo at the end

    The Bad:
    Derivative old western plot.
The SFX weren't up to par from previous episodes

Not horrible, but I hope future episodes are better.

yeah... found myself up late last night when i realized it'd be dropping about an hour later, so stayed up.

Too many long shots filling up the 55 minutes was likely my biggest complaint.

Well, I really dug it. Its one of those fleshing out the universe episodes. It really drew me into the setting. Felt like I was in the Star Wars universe.

I thought it was really cool. The dialogue could have used some trimming, but the visuals continue to be amazing, and the world building is very classic Star Wars.

Who was the watcher in the end?

Did anybody watch this episode and wonder if Timothy Olyphant is related to Pierce Brosnan?
