I am so hoping that on March 4th, the time the Qackanon people say trump will be sworn in as president, all the people staying in the jacked up price trump hotel rooms in DC light the David Hog pillows they bought in a bonfire and burn trumps hotel to the ground. Seeing what has happened that is not out of the realm of possibility.

I would actually go and try and troll that to happen, but I am too fucking scared it would work and I would be indicted along with them.

when I worked construction in the Phoenix area in the 80's in some areas if you wanted to build a house and didn't want to build around the saguaros* you had to pay 10K per cactus for the state to dig them up and transport/relocate them to a cactus sanctuary/preserve or other authorized location. You get caught destroying one and the fine/jail time was pretty steep.

* saguaros get about forty feet tall and weigh tons, with a huge spreading root system. Organ pipe are really big too, but not as common in the Phoenix area.

A good improvement, but still not enough. We have ~685 million vaccines that need to be given (I do hope that they'll track A-Z and J&J vaccines as 2 doses to keep dose numbers comparable). Still looking at over 300 days to get everyone done.

Yeah, but Biden's been in office for less than a month and they've managed to do that kind of improvement. If they can continue to improve at a similar rate then we have a chance of getting the bulk of the population vaccinated in less than 300 days.

It appears to me that Biden has managed to improve the process, by getting the hell out of the way. Hopefully he can lead and/or follow enough to speed things up a lot more.
