Too few episodes to make a ruling yet, but Clone Wars earned them some patience. I also will say I am surprisingly not annoyed by the kid.
The thing I like about the kid so far is she is just like my friend who never saw an animal who didn't "follow her home".
Caleb Dume is a character introduced in Rebels and has a different name in that show. I’ve seen the first four episodes and I like where it’s going, but it’s definitely taking it’s time. I love seeing Tarkin again. Omega does not annoy me.
I know who Caleb Dume is and that is why I would like to see his story between Order 66 and when he finds Ezra. Also, just watched the fifth episode. But, I forgot how to put spoiler brackets. anyone?
OK... I'm about to start watching D+'s Loki and I thought about this show... I skipped it because I don't give a flying f^&k about a war between clones vs drones. I watched the first few minutes of the first ep and decided this wasn't for me... but I'm now considering if I was too hasty... did this show ever get to be about anything other than a shooting match between useless adversaries in the SW universe?
Depends on what you’re looking for. A show about war or about personal experiences. Bad Batch is after the war, so they aren’t fighting droids. They eventually become mercenaries. This show is about that transition - so far.
Think that's bad, the teenager trapped me into watching a 4 hour anthology mixing parts of the 2005 episodes, the last 4 episodes of season 7 of the CGI clone wars, and the 2008 movie (Revenge of the Sith) all spliced together for one seamless sequence of events leading up to Order 66.
Good to see Hera and Chopper again! Looks like Omega may be related to Snoke clones or Palpatine. They'res also something going on in The Mandalorian with clones too, soooo...
Holy shit what a cliffhanger. I started this show hind of meh, but the second half was really strong and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
I finally got around to watching this. Watched the first five episodes during my 7 hours of commercial airline ride yesterday and another two episodes once I got home. It's really good!
My thought is that Omega winds up becoming the magistrate Ahsoka fights in Mando. How else could she even have put up a defense against her if not for being an enhanced/force sensitive clone? wagers on live action BB in the Andor series?
The Sith didn't eradicate all Force-sensitives. There's a line regarding the Magistrate about her anger fuelling her rise, which is basically the backstory to any of what the RPGs would class as a "Dark Side Marauder" - a Force-Sensitive warrior but with no formal Jedi or Sith training.
so it's plausible as presumably there'll be quite the shortage of potential teachers for fugitive force sensitive clones in the next thirty years...
Omega is definitely not the Magistrate. I realize nearly 30 years have passed since season 1 of Bad Batch and season 2 of Mando, but they have established that her character rejects hate and fear influencing her decisions. Most likely, we’ll see Omega in either the Asoka series or, if they switch out Cara Dune with Hera Syndula in Rangers of the New Republic, she will definitely show up there.
I’m watching Bad Batch again. I’m thinking Omega’s mission will be to find all clones who escaped order 66 and help them remove their chips. This may last 20 or even 30 years into the future. What do you think Omega’s overall life goal/mission would be?
