I don’t think so. I think people think and feel and want mostly the same things. We just express it differently. And because we do, the psychologists and propagandists are able to, with the help of the media, make people believe they have vastly different ideas and attitudes.

Take UA and I, we get along fine and mostly think the same way. Is he liberal or am I conservative? Or are we just the same but are hung up on labels? because of the media.

It's been my experience that no, we don't all want the same things. There's a huge gulf between "no one should starve in the richest countries in the world" and "let those born in the dirt stay there". This isn't so much a matter of psychologists, propagandists or media so much as basic human empathy vs. a lack of it.
