I want everyone. I wouldn't mind Spiner as Inigo Soong just so it's Spiner. Bring Crosby in as Sela. Hell, let's get Ro and ensign Jai on board for cameos.
There has rarely, if ever, been a Trek allegory that presents both sides of an issue. I think the closest one might be Tuvix, but nope, even that effectively says an abortion's about a woman's right to choose no matter what someone might think of the rights of the unique lifeform and its potential. I don't think one can watch, say, "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" and reasonably think those white/black people were right to destroy the black/white people! As to ICE, pretty sure liberals sentiment about the agency back when Obama was president, and currently now that Biden is president still generally ranged from "man, they have done some shady shit from time to time" to "man. that racist agency should be abolished because they have done so much shady shit."
I hope they bring back Wesley just so he can go "Shut up, Jean-Luc!" I think Wesley is owed that much. I also think that they need to give Wil Wheaton a decent send-off. I wonder if they could bring back people like Ashley Judd, Teri Hatcher and other famous Trek alums who played bit parts.
Barclay got a disease that caused him to turn into a giant spider and caused the crew to de-evolve. But not-Soji's disease, which actually has a basis on a real disease in the 21st century, doesn't seem real? Hell there was even a recent movie about the fatal sun exposure disease, the Fault in Our Stars, or something. There are plenty of things wrong with the season, but this seems like a weird thing to focus on. That being said I'm enjoying this season much more than season 1. There are weird choices, but still liking it.
I don't think they'll do time travel again after a season of it, so the D is either flashback only or can't appear.
I think it’s a flashback since they already have the digital model from season one. Or it’s in Starfleet museum along with the E-E.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xeroderma_pigmentosum And sorry the movie was Midnight Sun. Basically, if you have "XP" you can't go out in the sun ever or a whole bunch of bad stuff happens (see more at the link). People with XP have a reduced life expectancy: average life expectancy of 37, or 29 if you have neurological system issues.
Holy fucking shit. Did you even watch Generations? Don't you ever moan again about continuity errors or contemporary Trek writers not being familiar with the franchise. Ever.
all for the sin of constantly showing you as being wrong? I win!!! anyway, post 2970 (somebody quote this for the little coward to have his nose rubbed into, please?)
I think that is a capture from Conspiracy, yeah, when they shot not-Remmick. If so, I did think about that. That has always been one of the things I wish TNG followed up on but hadn't. Being able to do the aliens with 21st century special effects could be dope.
Since Avery Brooks has been retired from acting, and since Trek shows way too little love for DS9, this seems a stretch. It's more likely that 200+ year old Sulu guest-stars to be yet another cross-over with TOS.
Ooh, but they could bring in O'Brien. Colm Meaney is still working. And maybe he and Worf could do some DS9 reminiscing.
Somehow, we need a full frontal nude shot of Worf with his single glorious Klingon appendage swinging in the breeze. For the canon.
