If you're using the Federal Reserve's "Inflation Calculator" it isn't fully complete. It doesn't take into account that things like home prices have outpaced inflation (even though it really should), as well as things like college tuition costs, which, again, have outpaced inflation. (Though, I'd argue that things like home prices and college tuition should really be factored in when someone is talking about inflation, even if the Fed disagrees.)
See. Now, I know you are either still a child or living off a trust fund and do not hold an occupation. One person, living very frugally may get by on $15/hour. A teenager saving for college, could never save enough. A teenager saving for an old beater of a car couldn't save enough. A single mother trying to support herself after an asshole got her pregnant and walked away wouldn't be able to get by. What do you think the minimum wage should be?
I think it depends on the locality. What might work in Seattle doesn’t work in bum fuck South Carolina where I grew up.
For the third time what was the thought process that led you to post that tweet? What did you think it would say/show/prove?
There’s a person running for office that thinks $15 minimum wage is not enough and that it should be $30. Not that I owe you any explanation at all.
Okay. And LaRouche wants to build an aqueduct to divert half the Mississippi to the Colorado. For the fourth time what was the thought process that led you to post that tweet? What did you think it would say/show/prove?
LOL! You really do work hard to earn your kid moniker. I have a six year old that can better explain themselves.
Social Media Was a C.E.O.’s Bullhorn, and How He Lured Women Dan Price was applauded for paying a minimum salary of $70,000 at his Seattle company and criticizing corporate greed. The adulation helped to hide and enable his behavior.
So I'm not surprised; he was always far too sanctimonious to be a good dude. But my girlfriend was surprised... that it took the NYT this long to clue in. Apparently this has been an open secret on women' subreddits for years.
He's like so many of the young hotshots these days: a good idea (or two) along with a lot of character issues. He's kinda the flip side of the pharma bro.
Despite knowing about this guy ever since he made news about his minimum salary, I don’t recall seeing a photo of him until this week. He looks exactly like the kind of guy who’d treat women that way.
Anyone who looks like a man looks exactly like the kind of guy who’d treat women that way. There’s a reason I was single throughout my 20s.
