And replace them with....??? Costumed superheroes? Uncle Albert's gun rack? A Carebear stare made out of bootstrap pulling?
Then one Hitler-y governor decides he doesn't like how little his state is, and notices how pacifist and hippie-dippy his neighbors are, and things start to get a bit mayhem-y. No, I like a central government that can roll in the tanks on the segregationists, and make them think twice about the "the south will rise again" shit.
Fuck son. Tafkats talks about literal ownership of another human being and you are whining about having rules on your hobby.
This is true, but I still defend the right. I don’t understand how people can’t grasp this basic concept. I don’t like certain people’s speech, but I defend their right to say it.
Like you said it right there @Bill Carson. What the fuck is a hybrid of slavery? Slaves get the weekends off?
This is a laundry list of policies literally every one of which requires no systemic overhaul. Hybrid of WHAT?
Prediction: we won't make it to spring before lake announces her run for Senima's seat. These people never go away.
Why won't people stop being unreasonable and just institute FFs long list of ideas that are clearly Very practical and sustainable as seen in the examples of [functioning list of societies not found].
And there you go. Strong federal government when it comes to second amendment rights. Abortion rights and other human rights? Not so much. Fucking hypocrite.
Apart from the spending, and I’d be interested to see the numbers vs previous administrations, literally none of that has anything to do with Biden and the Dems What you’re actually doing here is complaining about capitalism
In fact, a lot of the blame for everything the kid mentions likely falls on the Trump administration. If the United States had competent leadership during the pandemic, both the country and the entire world may have gotten through it with slightly little less of a bloody nose. Instead, we're stuck with the current situation.
I don't recall saying anything one way or the other regarding other rights. I chose this Oregon law because it was fresh in my mind and the second amendment is specifically mentioned in the constitution. Bolding mine. This law is a clear infringement and likely will be challenged in court. Other human rights, which is a vague statement, are protected by the constitution. One such right is being violated by the various spy agencies in the precious, beloved federal government on a daily basis, yet Congress has failed to act on this. There is no right to an abortion in the constitution, that's what the tenth amendment is for. That's where rights that are not enumerated belong. If the people of a specific state wants to legalize abortion, they are free to vote on that. If they want universal healthcare, they are free to vote for that too. This country doesn't have to be a homogeneous country, we all have different interests and different priorities. In southern states you have a lot of conservative people who don't think abortion should be prioritized or they don't believe it should be legal or they think it should be legal, but with restrictions. In liberal states, they're going to have a different mindset. There's nothing wrong with that. The fact is that Democrats had ample opportunity to codify abortion rights into law and they failed on that. We as a country can't seem to agree on the limits of abortion or if there should be limits so it's better, IMO, to leave these decisions up to the people of the individual states until Congress can get their heads out of their asses. Maybe at some point the Democrats can amend the constitution to include a right to abortion.
