Multiple sources saying Marvel wants Adam Driver to be the new Reed Richards. https://www.darkhorizons.com/fantastic-4-star-wars-casting-talks-swirls/
Black Widow is never going to be resurrected, or replaced with a dimensional alter. A decade was enough for Johansson, and she's out. https://www.darkhorizons.com/johansson-is-done-with-marvel-movies/
If we can have three guys playing Peter Parker, they can recast Black Widow for an AU version. Lake Bell already did the voice for AU Natasha in What If. I'm sure she can pull it off in real life.
No. It would be like bringing back Tony, it takes away from the sacrifices. Yeah I know Spock came back. Sue me.
IMHO Natasha's sacrifice went over like a wet fart, I wouldn't say it's such a big moment that undoing it would ruin anything. We already got Gamora back with the same actress. It could even be better if no one trusts the new Natasha right away, give her some ambiguity back. Also, Lake Bell

To be fair, I'm sure that her critics have more complaints about her than that. And I'm sure some of those complaints are actually about her performance/movie. But of course, Bree Larson/Captain Marvel wasn't any more demoted in "The Marvels" (presumably) than Captain America was demoted in Winter Soldier or Civil War, Thor was demoted in Ragnarok, Spidey was demoted in No Way Home etc. by having numerous co-stars,
To the point of being "repellant"? No, it's her politics. She didn't harm anyone. She poked at privilege , and the cushy get enraged when you do that. And then gullible saps get enraged on their behalf.
A quick Google suggests no, that was made up shit by Doomcock, backed by some BS "body language analysis" where she was accused of trying to dominate the male actors and that they seemed relaxed with each other but not her. Chris Evans also joked about her, but he likes to jab at everyone in the extended cast and she's playfully hit back. Don Cheadle has dismissed the body language stuff: "You should see my ‘body language’ right now,” Cheadle said. “This is some of the funniest stuff I’ve ever heard. Brie was trying to keep her ponytail behind her because her hair stylist kept flying in and fixing it. She’s actually being over accommodating. Amazing.” and not a single cast member has bad-mouthed her in any way. RDJ and Tessa Thompson are big cheerleaders for her.
Samuel L. Jackson has some thoughts. https://twitter.com/SamuelLJackson/status/1651164793170980864?s=20
The strike just shut down Blade. The universe doesn't want a new Blade to happen. Wesley Snipes must have rescued the baby who cures cancer or something. https://www.darkhorizons.com/marvel-shuts-down-blade-pre-production/
No, you missed a decent film. Not great by any stretch, but nowhere near as bad as the critics or nerds say it was.
Deadpool: What the shit? How the fuck did that happen before I got in to gently drop in an F-bathbomb into the water?
Just saw GotG Vol 3. It was pretty good. Easily the best MCU film since Endgame (which isn't saying much). Finally gives the backstory on Rocket and there's some great character moments. However, not sure if it's good enough to give the overall MCU a much-needed booster shot.
I finally saw the new Ant Man and my biggest complaint is that the new big time bad guy who's supposed to terrorize the Marvel Universe for the foreseeable future just got his ass whupped by Ant Man and the Wasp
I thought you were going to say that the new big time bad guy got his ass whupped by the Manhattan DA.
I keep seeing rumours that, if Jonathan Majors goes to jail, it'll conveniently turn out that the High Evolutionary was a Kang variant all along.
Makes a certain amount of sense, especially considering how dramatically they changed the character. The High Evolutionary in the comics was almost an anti-hero, often responsible, respectful and even kind. The GotG version was just a crap cardboard villain, with the exact same qualities they've used for their villains several times now. Hell, he had the same basic power set as Kang. There were a few good things in that movie, but they are moving further and further away from the original source material. Often that's good, but sometimes it just stinks. Their HE take was crap. If they have to recast Kang, and I hope they don't because I think Majors was very good in the role, I'd love to see Trammel Tilman of Severance. And if you haven't seen Severance on Apple TV and you enjoy intellectual shows, you really should. It's the best show I've seen in quite some time - at least, through season 1.
I watched Ant-Man 3 and it wasn't horrible. I think it was too long and MODOCK was stupid and too many jokes. I think the second one was better, but they had to have this to get to the next movies.
