Clearly they're setting up Phoebe Waller-Bridge to take over for Ford and they had to do those re-shoots because they originially killed off Indy at the end so this is not surprising.
Wait...this series started in the 40's, and has progressed in real time to the 60's, right? If they pass the torch to Waller-Bridge, they can make it to the 80's, and have the original Indy trilogy come out in in-world theaters, and get really fucking meta with it!
Me too. There are reports that they spent HEAVILY on deaging, and there's a 25 minute scene in the 2 hour movie with the de-aged HF in his prime Indy days.
There's only so many times you can use a lint brush to get Wookiee fur off a shirt, even with advanced tech.
I'd be curious if you could screenshot any of the frames you're talking about and point out the matte lines, since it's unlikely they'd be using tech that would even produce them nowadays.
What of it? I've got limited time to do shit, and it's more fun to poke at FF in the Red Room to rewatch a trailer that may or may not have effects issues (which may or may not be fixed in the final print) and will certainly not determine whether you or anyone else goes to see the movie.
How about this? You don't see the line along the jaw in what's apparently an official image from Disney?
That doesn't look horrible, and the important point is that it's a only a single frame grab. I'll reserve judgment until I see the film.
Don't you love it how righties want you to grovel and weep before them, but then when I troll them back with literal "grovel before me and weep " type stuff, they don't fucking get it? Never stops being a riot to me.
That's right At the Regal Cinemas near me they'll be showing Raiders on Sunday June 4th & Wednesday June 7th. I didn't see Raiders in the movie theater when I was a kid , so I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to FINALLY seeing Raiders on the Big Screen in June.
The action scenes in Raiders and The Last Crusade had little to no dialogue, just Indy kicking ass. This is just the same type of MCU type of action that's getting old.
IGN just gave it a 4/10. That is pretty brutal for them. RottenTomatoes is an uninspiring 50% ATM. I haven't seen Crystal Skull. So basically, if I don't see this, my memories will only ever be of the first three. Cool.
Hmm. Tangiers in the 60s? Interesting. I'm dubious that they'd ever do this, but a number of the Beats and other artists were circulating through Tangiers at that time. Be neat if they had a nod to that in the film.
