Despite being an internet meme that one of my Navy buddies posted on Facebook once, MAOHS had a healthy respect for guns and was an advocate for reasonable gun control. Never had an issue w the guy.
It has the same smell. I would imagine he changed the name in an effort to go (slightly) more mainstream...especially with the merch.
The guy used to post videos and he comes across as a total douche. Plus, he regularly calls out teevee stations for misspelled graphics when his site overflows with misspellings. I take screenshots of most of them in case I ever want to create a Twitter account to troll him. His defense is that he's "just one person" running his site, but he's been out of the business so long that he apparently doesn't know that few local stations have production people who just make lower thirds for news stories any more. At the vast majority of places, producers now have to do that themselves, so "just one person."
Rumors of my demise have been exaggerated, all who trafficked in such rumors will be put to the sword.
Where in the wide wide world of sports is Chicagolander @Quincunx ? He's a great poster. It'd be great if he came back. That's what's so interesting about all those old threads that have been bumped up to the front page recently. As you scroll down the pages of those threads you come across lots of posters who haven't been here in YEARS. It'd be cool if all of them came back. Does anybody remember a racist poster who had Broc Obama in his signature? In his signature he had a picture of Obama's head merged with a piece of broccoli. I can't remember that poster's name now. It completely escapes me. I see that once again @Paladin has quietly slinked off again into the ether. It'd be great if @actormike came back. I don't think he's been here in AT LEAST a decade? I'd also love to see @Lt. Mewa come back.
I don't know what @Paladin was thinking coming back to the red room. Oh sure maybe everyone but @Lanzman , @Bill Carson , @Uncle Albert , @Jenee , and @T.R died and the place just kept going on like TK and he could come in and be all like wow, that sucked. He should go over to TK to play cum cookie in the playpen with the rest of them.
Where's @Minsc&Boo been? He hasn't been on Wordforge in months. It's good to have him around as he gives the joint atmosphere. I wonder how many poster's heads would explode Scanners style if @Starguard were able to return to Wordforge?

I'd love to see @Lt. Mewa come back, he was a great guy. But he took a lot of racist bullshit from rightforge back in the day, and I definitely understand why he left.
I hadn't seen that at the time, but I was checking the banned users list since the guy showed up because every right winger that has shown up in the past few years gets banned.
What has the world come to when you can't call for lynching of other board members and ask to be banned without being banned.
