I disagree. I think that Pres. elect Obama's () win, a pretty solid one at that, will take some of the wind out of their sails. If nothing else, this event does indicate that America has turned the page on big-time racism. The small everyday stuff will be more of an "eroded over time" sort of thing.

I would like to think that you would have gone down before getting a shot off. Even if they don't search you, I bet you they were watching you and would've seen a gun. If you notice, they're not usually watching the POTUS, they're watching the crowd around him, looking and waiting for something like this.
