I'm looking forward to the conspiracy that they are testing AI on the F-35 and it ejected the pilot then went rogue.

So here’s the deal. The difference between a 4.5gen and 5gen fighter is basically just the stealth technology IN PARTICULAR the whole internal weapons storage thing.

Like why isn’t a J-20 or Su-57 considered a ‘Stealth Fighter’… ummm… maybe because of their hard points? Like their ordinance and ETW and razzle dazzle has to be carried outside the body of the plane so we can see it?!??

    MAYBE THAT IS AN OPTION!?!?!

Now my question is that if we can’t track an F-35 that has blown its canopy, should I feel safe that we can track a Soviet or Chinese bomber who has opened their bomb bay doors and launched some but not all their nuclear missiles?!?!? Will they not launch more?!??

Keep in mind that the only US “Stealth” aircraft ever to be shot down was an F-117 whose bomb bay door got stuck open protecting Kosovo which then allowed a Serbian controlled (but operated by the Russian military) S-300 air defense battalion to get and hold contact and eventually shoot down the disabled F-117…

This F-35 SUPPOSEDLY had a blown canopy.

You wanna tell me some fucking Serbs in 1995 can track down and shoot out of the air a ‘Stealth Fighter’ (let’s all be clear it was always a bomber and always a super secret ESPECIALLY since it came from a Soviet doctorate paper considered so irrelevant it took the CIA seven years to even bother to translate it to English and it took another five years for an American physicist to be like HOLY FUCK WE CAN BUILD A UNIT THAT RADAR IGNORES!”) but it was NOT or EVER a Fighter it was always a Bomber and should have been an B aircraft but you know Republican congresses… always form over over function. So to get over the production line they declared an airplane that had go Air-to-Air capabilities only Air-to-Ground) let’s just still allow this to be a “Stealth Fighter”.
Go look how the earliest sorties went.

    Who flew them?

What airframe flew 78% of the initial sorties taking out over 95% of enemy ADA?

The fact that the canopy is on top of the aircraft pointing towards the sky while things like bomb bay doors are pointing towards the ground probably helps a lot.

That’s actually a really good point but also kinda only scarier. We got the Five Eyes that if ya’ll doing yer job should let us know about a ballistic launch but in the last week Russia had half a billion dollars of military hardware taken out by munitions designed to sub ballistic and sub radar when they got close.

Hopefully our shit is better their shit?

Reagan was an ass, but what's going on today would have been beyond his imagination. Large sections of the Republican Party are enthusiastically sucking Russian dicks and are even proud of it. McCain should come back from the dead and shoot everyone for treason. It's unbelievable. It's a goddamn disgrace.

It was never the authoritarianism that bothered Republicans about Communism.
It was the idea that someone wasn't making shitloads of money on it.
That all that sweet profit was just flying off into the ether.
That's what gives these fuckers sleepless nights; not atrocities, not misery, it's the cash box not ringing.

I'm hearing that a member of the Waffen SS got a standing ovation in the Canadian parliament because he had fought against the Russians in WW2. Not a good look.

Just for fun I googled the quote: ""We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." - William J. Casey, CIA Director (1981)," in FF's sig. I thought it had to be bullshit. It's not! The following is one of the links Google faithfully provided.

For a fun read check out this Los Angeles Weekly article from 1987 discussing Casey's, Reagan's, and everyone's really, involvement in disinformation for a true 1980's foreign policy rush. It makes for hilarious reading and context to all the fuckery going on in the world. spoiler: the enemy is us.

I've attached the complete PDF if visiting CIA.gov makes you queasy.

Yeah, one member of the house (the speaker) invited him without giving anyone else advance notice and only knew that he "fought against Russia in WWII." That's all everyone else in the house was told before all parties applauded him.

It's a gaffe on the level of signing a "let's erect a giant statue of the guy that killed Hitler" petition. :clyde:

Which isn't a great excuse. It's not like Russia being part of the Allies and not the Axis is something anyone with an education NOT controlled by the GOP should have missed.
