Gaza was not occupied by Israel. It was blockaded by them because of the thousands of rockets fired from Gaza into Israel. In fact, Israel was normalizing reliations with Gaza (they thought), had allowed the most aid into Gaza in existence, and had drastically increased the number of jobs programs so Palestinians could work in Israel and bring money back to their communities.

They committed an even more thorough ethnic cleansing of the Jews in Jerusalem than the Israelis did in the Nabka in Gallilee.

Arguably the IDF is doing more to "free Palestine" than any other entity on the planet, since their efforts to destroy Hamas would also mean liberating Gaza from being under the thumb of a terrorist organization that doesn't care if the people there live or die or suffer immensely.

According to the investigation, the photographers documented up close the kidnapping of civilians and soldiers, an attack on a tank, and the lynching of an IDF soldier. In addition, a CNN freelance journalist broadcasted images of the burning tank and accompanied the terrorists into Gaza.

This kind of implies that if Hamas had launched its attack from the West Bank, no one would have supported Israel. I can’t say you’re wrong, but it’s kinda disturbing to think about. Hamas clearly doesn’t care about geography like that. Had they physically been able to, I’m sure they’d have launched it from both.
