Police raid a house in search of a former resident (this isn’t the first time they’ve raided the house looking for the previous resident) and it results in an infant in the house being hospitalized because of the flash bang the cops used. https://chroniclet.com/news/377869/...ement-on-parmely-avenue-search-warrant-video/
Prison organ thief definitely sounds like the protagonist of a 90's indie film. Can't you just picture it? A montage of him plopping the organs into a cooler, then counting the money, then his house getting prettier and prettier. Maybe he has a girlfriend, and we see her rubbing the money on her tits. "When I fall" by Sam Philips plays as all this unfolds.
Prison Organ Thiiieeefff, Stealin' all the organs! Selling them to rich folks, Sourcing them from orphans...
well... yes and no. It's TOronto, so we have diversity in the police force that's reflective of the population-when they fuck up and kill somebody there's usually other factors besides race like mental health or being unhoused. The biggest problem with our police here is they're paid a ridiculous amount of money for the minimal education required to be a cop-average wages are over $100K. Because of this, many officers live in the suburbs and have no connection to the communities they serve in.
sigh this is why I generally leave you in ignore. You throw shit like this with no grounding in reality out and leave us to guess at what you're talking about. what would some of those reasons be, in your mind? (bonus marks if you can explain how and why those issues are problematic in the first place). Remember, you're talking about a city that's considered to have one of the highest and safest standards of living on the planet while also being one of the most culturally diverse places as well. I doubt you can or will even attempt this, but still, something you may wanna think about as the few folks who choose to still interact with you show you for the fool you are.
Since Federal courts have upheld that cops have no obligation to "protect", I'm wondering what definition of "serve" you think is in play here?
There job is defined as serving public safety. Whether or not they succeed at it is a subject you tedious fucking pedants can bring up elsewhere. As for why they don't want to live where they work, my guess is either they don't think their families and property would be safe, they can afford a nicer house elsewhere, or both. Why that is anyone else's fucking business is the real question.
