I forgot to screencap this, but there was a hilarious juxtaposition last night when the Politico story about the primary result was sitting directly above one of the "gloom and doom for Democrats" stories, to which Politico is so addicted, asserting that Biden was having a hard time getting anyone excited in South Carolina.

Excited? Maybe not, but the reality that it will probably be Trump versus Biden is sinking in. There’s starting to realize that achieving the socialist paradise will have to wait.

I would say only 4% of voter turnout shows that quite well.

4% showed up to vote in a pointless primary, sounds like a good turnout to me.

The Biden Bros are really trying hard to show this was some great thing. There is no real allowed effort to confront him. He is the incumbent. You also do not have a big name like Bernie running this time. It is not a great victory that he is winning, it is just what is going to happen when you are basically running unopposed.

There wasn't even any reason for the Biden Bros to show up, which is why most didn't. It would have been a thing if fifty percent of the dem voters showed up to the primary just to check the box because that would show enthusiasm, but this was just what was going to happen and even his own people had better things to do.

Not the news. Not those assholes. Those assholes make it seem like he did something amazing while he probably napped his way through it.

The 4% figure can only be achieved by using the Democratic primary turnout as the numerator and the total number of registered voters as the denominator, so way to be dishonest with numbers.

Of course, intellectual dishonesty is pretty much your stock in trade.

Use the likely number of Democrats as the denominator, and it ends being pretty normal for what was basically an uncontested election.

I’m pretty sure the 4% number is the number of registered democrats so a lot of democrats stayed home.

Intellectual dishonesty is pretending the SCX primary was some huge blowouit for biden by saying he won 90+ percent of the vote in a competition that really did not have anyone else of note, and where he was the incumbent protected by the media who has done everything to bury any other participants and certainly has avoided having any national debates where they were present wityh biden before the competition.

It is a fucking joke to say there are dem primaries this time around. It is all ceremony and bullshit.
