Someone is in a pissing match with me? I just got back and already I'm more relevant on here than I ever was.
If you’re in a pissing contest with Tererun, you’re not relevant, you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel.
I am totally not relevant to you. I can tell. BTW it seems that @jack has come all the way from TK to get SPNAKed by me and his ass is a bit chapped and he could use a friend. So if you could take a little break from sucking the silverfish and stank from UA's beard and give him a little love that would be awesome. I do not know why people say I am so horrible, I do try to help my beloved pen of village idiots.
You think an economic system caused the nuclear plant disaster in Pripyat? Aren’t you a proponent of nuclear energy?
I think an ideology led to a series of policies, mistakes and accidents lead to a nuclear power plant disaster. That ideology being communism. Yes, I am a proponent of nuclear power.
*looks at map of coal plants in Europe* Huh. Seems to be a kinda east/west divide there. Wonder what that’s about.
In which case, you really do need to take some real college courses. Your statement here is a total contradiction.
The part where you said “I think”, then concluded with the Chernoby disaster being anything other than a nuclear disaster, but you are a proponent of nuclear energy, that caused a disaster, because communism, because you’re fucking stupid.
This makes zero sense. We can have nuclear power without it resulting in a disaster. In fact, we do. At any rate, Chernobyl is not the only example of Communism being terrible for the environment.
Now, I know the idiot boy has me on ignore because he can't handle dissenting views, so one of y'all will have to get him to watch the first 2 minutes of this clip: Yeah, I know, it's the HBO series, but the folks at HBO did their homework and it's accurate. (Also, let's face it, the idiot boy can't tell the difference between fiction and reality, so no biggie.) Anyway, if you watch the clip, you'll note the reason why the reactor had the fatal flaw that led to the accident, and why such reactors were built in the Soviet Union, "It's cheaper." Why did Ford build the Pinto without the clips that would have prevented the cars from exploding in a rear-end collision? "It's cheaper." Why did companies bury their waste in what would become Love Canal instead of properly disposing of it? "It's cheaper." Why did companies in the late 19th/early 20th century adulterate their milk with things that were toxic? "It's cheaper." Why did Boeing make crucial software for the 737 Max optional? "It's cheaper." Why did Boeing build planes with door plugs? "It's cheaper." Why did a town run by Libertarians get overrun by bears? "It's cheaper." It ain't communism that makes nuclear power dangerous. It's people unwilling to shoulder the burden of doing things right. You know, the kind of people that UA and FF are more than happy to vote for.
This might well be why Elon used the wrong steel. He wanted credit for seeing something himself rather than listen to the experts he paid to tell him expert things.
Nah. He’s too controlling. Canon from the series, there was a whole panel of people throwing out ideas of what type of experiments can and will be used in the vaults. Musk is too controlling.
Nuclear power? Well what about Fukishima then? That had nothing to do with communism and was a far greater disaster than Chernobyl and still isn't finished. And the spent fuel rods being stored in Arizona and New Mexico? When I lived in NM (back in the late 70's) all that storage was being created and approved to handle the flow of waste. Those rods will still be hot after the planet finally dies. Do you agree?
