What a couple of epic games today! Overtime in the AFC, and on the NFC side, Kap delivering an ass-whooping to the Packers.
By far, the very worst option is a stadium shared with a baseball team. The seating bowl is shaped wrong for football, and the enclosed outfield is no good for baseball.
Fuck the Jets. Make them play on a high school field. I'm so upset that the Broncos lost. Damn. At this point I'm not for any team really. I'd be glad to see any of them win. As long as the game is good.
My main interest is in the 49ers not winning the Superbowl. Sure, it's always fun when the Pats win, but I'll take any team over San Francisco. It would be different if the Giants had lost the World Series, but that town is already more than enough full of itself.
Good Game. Yes, I would have much rather won this game than lost. But we're a team built from the ground up. They'll be back next year and post-Chicago there can be no doubt that we've got a franchise quarterback to round out the team. I know everyone says this, but seriously, next year. When we drafted Wilson I said SuperBowl in three... Let's move that to two. Built around him in the off season. We only need a few more pieces. We got this...
Frickin' Ravens and 49ers! At least Atlanta managed to squeeze out a win. Praying for the Texans to beat the hated Patsies, but it's not looking especially promising.
Everybody is incredibly high on Colin Kaepernik, but I don't think he's going to have anywhere near the game against the Falcons. Green Bay's defense was only so so all year long, and one of the players revealed that the coaches spent no time preparing for the Pistol offense that allowed CK to run wild. You aren't going to be able to do that against the Falcons. I think that one is anybody's game. If John Abraham is close to 100%, I give the Falcons a real shot. On the other side, I'm rooting for the Ravens, and think they might be able to pull it off. They should have won the game last year, except for a last second dropped ball to win it and shanked field goal. They are as healthy as they've been all year, and their defense is one of the few that really plays Brady well - he's thrown more picks than TD against them. If Flacco plays as well as he did last week and as well as he did last year in the Championship game, they definitely could win this. Either way, two good games leading to likely a very entertaining SB.
In the AFC I am rooting for the Ravens, but sadly I think the hated Patriots will win. In the NFC, I prefer the Falcons in general, but assuming the Patriots win in the AFC, I believe that the 49ers would be able to give them a better game. Even if Baltimore pulls out a win, that would set up a "Harbaugh vs Harbaugh" Super Bowl plotline. So while I like the Falcons, I think either way it's better if San Francisco beats them. And as a Rams fan, this saddens me, because I do NOT want the 49ers to do well.
- Brady is a prettyboy, - Belicheck is pure Evil, - SPYGATE And Liet got it right...my hatred of the Patsies trumps even my hatred of the 49ers. Hey, Ravens vs Falcons might be an interesting game, eh? We can hope...!
Since when has football been about looks? I think Brady's arm is all you need to know about. Pure evil, yes, evil genius that is. Ahem, evil genius? And fuck the 49ers. Maybe if you had grown up with the Rams in your town like I did, you would have the proper level of hatred for that team. But your St. Louis Rams fan is probably a lesser species than an LA Rams fan.
I'd take San Fran over the Jets, Texans, or Titans in a heartbeat. Some things outrank mere divisional rivalries.
Did you see The Hoodie and Brady after the game? What a couple of classless douchebags. Have some grace in defeat, fellas.
