"On a more local level, all of these ladies were sworn in yesterday" ummm.....Houston? We have a problem! Well anyway a white male in a pickup truck suspect might have a problem (see link) when he's caught if any of these judges are handling the case! Yes, Texas has the death penalty. That said there is a bill underway to make "hate crimes" a Federal offense. If that occurs it could backfire because (I think) Federal charges don't entail the death penalty. Regardless, shooting into a vehicle full of innocent people is wrong no matter how you slice it. https://www.chron.com/news/houston-...im-deadly-shooting-of-7-year-old-13503502.php
Small world! There are 28 members of Congress who are (allegedly) smarter than me - but they are probably using the metric system to measure their intelligence.
Im not even going to try and track how many are younger than me. I REALLY don't want to know the answer to that.
And, by the law of averages, there should be more than 28, but God forbid young people (whose future it is) should be allowed near politics... Not that my country is much better, see how fast the powers-that-be ran from lowering the voting age to 16 for national referenda like Brexit (those kids are the ones who will have to live with it, a decent chunk of those who voted Leave are already dead, ffs)
