I have no need for one at the present time, but still kind of interesting. :chris:

The CT556 is the civilian version.

Going by the photo, I'd imagine that the civilian version will have a somewhat longer barrel (the site says that the one in the photo appears to have a 10" barrel).

Pull the trigger and it falls apart.

Hmmm... I like the looks of it. Nice and compact, quad rails. I'd want a light, laser, and a forward grip on it.

It's the Taurus part that concerns me.

I've been hearing rumors that Ruger is working on their own assault rifle.

    I'll take a Taurus over a ruger.

Ruger already released their version. The SR556. It's a short stroke gas piston.

it may just be the angle, but it looks like the stock, when folded, interferes with ejecting brass

Looks like the stock folds in at an angle. You can see it behind the trigger.

I wonder how long their lifetime warranty service will take to get it back to you during a FIreFIGHT? :chris:

*squints* looks like it's just partially folded to prop it up for the picture

Sorta looks like an FN SCAR. Or maybe I'm more insane than usual this morning.

...does it shoot around corners, or unfold into the Decepticon leader or something?

    Or, is it just pretty?

It does none of those Jewish things, unfortunately.
