In which case, even if your conclusion held true for these other countries, shouldn't you predict an anomalous result for an anomalous country? Is it working that way? Again, we're not making predictions regarding a theory; we can make observations regarding a practice.
You're the one who claimed no government has made it work, I gave an example of countries where it seems to be. If you want to make that claim it's up to you to show why it is the case.
As I already posted, we have US examples of it working. Pick the first 10 states on this list, then ask why their results are so different from the last 10. http://www.alec.org/publications/report-card-on-american-education/
One of the rare reports on education where Arizona isn't in the bottom five. It must be because of the policies on private and charter schools.
They were one of the first links in google, and they had my state listed first. No need to look further.
They suck compared to other NFL teams. The worst pro team is more than a match for a college football team.
And the worst college team ever would probably destroy the greatest high school team ever. And so forth. Most people have no clue about how the average talent level jumps at least level of play. IIRC, a high school football player has something like a 1 in 50,000 chance of playing in the NFL. Unless he is from American Samoa. IIRC, American Samoan football players are 40 times more likely to play in the NFL than a high school football player from one of the 50 states.
