Actually, I was the one who found US Messageboards and there's a lot of activity there. I have no problem with the management here though.Seems pretty even handed to me. Better than the pathetic way TBBS is run. Miles better.
Hey, I've never complained to you. In fact, you run the board any way you see fit and that's fine with me. I was no worse than those on the other side and I know that you know that. I guarantee you though that many there miss me.
It's actually a lot of fun over there. Their only problem is that they've calculated (correctly so) that the majority of nerds are pussies and losers and they need to protect them. It doesn't help the nerds, but it does keep them coming back to their safe haven.
I dunno why people are acting like this place was always a free-for-all. Last time I checked, this place isn't Troll Kingdom. I hate the neutered rep system but that's a far cry from telling people they can't still call each other names and flame and troll in RR...which even that used to be more in the context of an actual thread and not just calling people out for the sake of calling people out.
If you don't have anything against me then why not bring me back? I was no different than the opposition. And the one thing I really do miss is my Trek Pasta Night threads. Besides...I've mellowed!
I checked out US Message Board. Once I got past the ugly format and deluge of ads, I lurked in a few fora. It's pretty big and spread out, but most areas don't have a ton of activity. It leans conservative, so it's not different from WF at all in that respect. It's got a nice conspiracy theory forum, with a surprising (or not) amount of truther/birther types. But even most of them are just mouth-breathing Aspergers cases repeating the same debunked shit over and over. In short...pass.
Difference is I can fill the stadium. And not only that I know more about TOS than probably anyone there...... and I run a mean fantasy football contest as well. What are you bringing to the mix?
You're probably more comfortable here too. People on both sides get used to each other whether they like each other's opinions or not. Just the way it is.
