Question: Since this thread has long since devolved into nonsense, trolling and whining, is there any reason for it still to be pinned? It really doesn't seem to me that it fills an important function any more.

On the contrary, I'd argue that it serves as the Cliff Notes for anyone thinking of joining Wordforge. No need to lurk or read dozens of threads. If you want to see the dramatis personae for what they truly are, this thread has it all.

Depends on why you're ignoring them. If it's because you can't stop poking at them, then yes. If it's because they can't stop poking at you, then it's probably a good idea to let them know that you're not going to rise to the bait anymore.

If this thread is unstickied, I will finally vote no in the poll.

The purpose of my using the ignore fuction is so that I don't have to read their interminable shit any more. How does posting about it defeat that?

I think it's referring to the fact that if you announce who you have on ignore, their buddies or Faceman will come along every time they post shit about you and quote it so you will end up seeing it anyway.

Whereas if you say nothing, no one can be sure if you are ignoring them or ignoring them via the software.

Frankly, I'd think it's better than nothing and the arguments boil down to trolls loathe ignore because it takes away their power so they have to equate it to intelligence or manhood to convince someone to volunteer to remain a target.
