One should also note that one of the reasons it is going on for so long is their requests make the trial take longer. If she is really facing hardship over having the trial take so long, and it is the defense that keeps delaying it due to their laziness, the court would take that into consideration if her lawyer brought it up. However, if the delay on the trial is the defendant's motions and she isn't fully incarcerated this really looks like her trying to gain sympathy over a situation that is a lot of her delaying going to prison.

Ages ago, I had a job as a trainer at a warehouse. One day I'm assigned to train a new hire who was very pretty. I should point out that it's the summer time, in TN, and the facility we work in is not airconditioned, so it's warm, and everybody is wearing t-shirts and shorts, including the gal I was training (whom I'll call "Twunt"). Naturally, I'm like, "Oh, this is my lucky day." Yeah, that didn't last long. Nearly everything about the job, she decided was on par with a literal war crime. She complained about absolutely everything for the dumbest possible reasons. Trust me when I say that even Jenee and Tererun would say, "This bitch needs to tone it the fuck down." Every horndog in the place would come up to me when Twunt was out of earshot and say, "Man, you're so lucky. She's hot as fuck." To which I would reply, "Trust me, dude, she's such a bitch that you don't want to fuck her." Their response was always, "Aww, man, I don't care how big of a bitch she is, I'd still fuck her." I was like, "Nah, man. Trust me, you don't want anything to do with her."

Training lasted a week, and after that, she went out and did her job solo. Every one of those motherfuckers came up to me after dealing with her a few minutes and said, "Oh, dude, you were right. There's no way I could fuck her." Even the guys who were the smoothest pickup artists in the place, and laid all kinds of pipe in that place, ran at the thought that they might be able to bang her.

Let me give you an example of just how unpleasant she was. Sometime after she started, her boyfriend also started there, and a year or so later, we found ourselves all working in the same department. Our job was we'd split up into teams, where one person would unload a conveyor belt, while the other person scanned the boxes being unloaded with a hand scanner. Everybody doing that would pair up, and most people would swap positions after a while. The person who was previously unloading the conveyor would scan, while the person who had been scanning would unload. Me? I preferred to unload the conveyors, rather than scan. Twunt and her boyfriend would work with one another, and I'd work with whomever. For some reason, since I didn't swap with my partner, Twunt and her boyfriend felt that they couldn't swap positions with one another. Nothing I and my partner did had any impact on the Twunt and her partner at all. Yet they felt (and trust me, Twunt was the driving factor behind this) that I was the asshole for not swapping with my partner. I know this because they started screaming at me one night, screaming that because me and my partner hadn't swapped, they couldn't swap. Again, nothing about how I and my partner did our job had any impact on how the Twunt and her boyfriend did their jobs. They could have swapped after every box if they wanted to, regardless of what we did. They didn't.

Bobo, Sporkfoot, and Rachel Powell, absolutely fall in the same category as the Twunt. If you remotely have any respect for yourself, or humanity, you will quickly realize upon meeting a person like this that not only are there certain lines which shouldn't be crossed, but that the compassionate thing to do is a single round to the back of the head to anyone who would actually attempt to do so. Yes, they are that bad.
