Nothing I can do about it. Joined the game way too late to get my economy to the point where I can bounce back from stuff like that. At most, I've only ever been able to put down 2.5 million mines and fighters in a single go, so whilst my defences should give anyone at around my own ATL a stiff fight, they're not gonna do much versus someone who can lay down 40 million mines in a sector having just taken it from me.

As it stands, I just blew 6/7s of my entire IGB account on upgrades and I'm still not back to the point I was prior to hitting Ramen's mines the other day...

Seems Ramen's ATL is 10 higher than mine, which explains how people at the top end are able to put down 10-100 times more fighters and torps than my ship can manage in a single run.

Ah well.

It would matter to me, but unless you put it on someone with a ship less than ATL 22-23 I doubt I could claim it.
