I know of a few port routes that are suitable for my needs. As his been pointed out, this is in retaliation for his unprovoked attacks on several players. edit: I have no further desire to war, the liberation of those sectors from Cains control was expensive in terms of turns and resources. If he does not back down from his aggressions however there will be no hesitation.
Jasim bin Jabir attacked, comquerd and destroyed one of my planets. We are now even. I hope it stays that way.
It has begun! The bickering! The fighting! The *gasp* attacking! Screw playing, I can just skim this once in a while and see the brew and get worse and worse until the apocalypse!
We are the Brethren of the Coast, we are pirates, we have no use for treaties or polite requests, we take what we want when we want it.
Avast ye scurvy dogs! Have your women ready for plunder when we take our tribute from ye! Arrrrrr!!!!
Translation: I was looking for an excuse to attack someone, so I decided to play the savior and attack Cain.
Cain foolishly decided to continue the attack this morning so now instead of three planets in 341 he only has one! arr!!
Brilliant strategy. It worked out so well for the Interstellar Alliance to attack independent players early in the game last time.
Stupid. Did you want to protect the energy port in 4206 and the Special in 4208? Incidentally 4207 was my planet he took. I can't remember if it had a port in it but you are all free to visit it of course. Your file has started: *Player Terry Wogan* WF Name - Ecky Hostile - Yes Alliance - Unknown Planets - 4207 Notes - Captured Roach Planet 4207 Don't mess with the Roach Empire. We've spys everywhere. I didn't see squat. It was early in the game and I made the mistake of using a Genesis device. You'll notice that the planet had what: 2 Colonists on it? Oh wow big bad Terry Wogan.... I didn't even notice it was gone until I was going through my notes and I noted that it was in the notes but wasn't in my planets section anymore on the game page. I've plenty of others. And plenty of trade routes.
Ah, but the real fun is the politics that decides who ends up as the killers, and who gets killed. Of course when you have a player such as yourself who hid behind others last time and never had to worry about such things I can see how you might feel that way.
It's too early to tell, and not everyone keeps their money in the bank so we can't see how much they have.
A lot of players have their money stored on their planets, so the ranking system isn't entirely accurate, though Fruitylicious is technically in 1st with a score of 20,978. Kosh, Jasmine bin Jabir, and Cain all have at least 25 planets. Though, there were a lot of unclaimed planets that players captured within the first few days. William the Kid, Kosh, and Jasmine bin Jabir all have at least 25 million colonists.
Shoot. I'm starting to feel withdrawal. Ah well, I'll be ripe for the next game. Outta curiousity, how's Elwood doing on turns? Was his "I'm not involved in this one, I'm just an Admin" really sincere, or was it the third iteration of the "Ignore me until I'm too strong to be stopped" gambit?
Ah, it will be good to have a game and not have to put up with your whining and allegations of cheating.
