For my country? I do my civic duty by voting. I pay my taxes. My friends, a lot. I paid off one of my friend's electric bill so he wouldn't lose his power without asking him to pay me back. I've given friends rides when they couldn't drive. Last year I let one of my friends stay with me for a month when his apartment burnt down. I've paid for my friends' drinks while at the local bar. I've helped my friends move. As an Eagle Scout, I did several things to help out my community. Why do you ask?

I don't think anyone has made the argument that banning guns solves violent crime, or even complete rids society of gun violence. In fact, aside from Dan Leach I don't think anyone has actually advocated the total banning of guns in the US anyhow. For me the debate has been about the severity of gun violence in the US, and it doesn't matter how many people you give a "dumb" rating to for pointing this out, the fact doesn't change that gun crime in the US is far beyond that of other first world nations. So the questions being debate are why and what could maybe be done to bring the US gun violence in line with other first world nations. For the most part that's all the debate has ever been about. I think you know this already and are being deliberately dishonest.

White American homicide rates are in line with other first world nations. Our lily white states have lower homicide rates than Britain. But what happens when someplace like Britain lets in massive number of immigrants that have murder rates of 80+ per 100,000? Yeah, your homicide stats go in the toilet. But we can't talk about that, we have to blame racism, which is why the ethnics homicide rates stay so high that people stream their own gang related murders on Facebook.

Well, so that pretty much confirms what this guy is given the Britain First and neo-Nazi stuff. Looks like we have our very own small time Anders Breivik.

Oh come on. Almost 200 British MP's have been condemned as traitors and either beheaded, drawn and quartered, hanged, or died in prison. It's pretty much how Parliament operates. A nutcase accuses ministers of treason and treachery, and then they're dragged to the Tower to have their head cut off before they can even fire off an e-mail.

There's nothing to connect this nut to the Brexit campaign. Even if you have witnesses who say he joined the Brexit campaign back in high school, before the EU even existed, and even if he called authorities mid-attack and pledged his allegiance to the Brexit campaign, and even if the Brexit campaign lauded him as a hero, and even if he'd been investigated twice before with threatening to kill Remain supporters in the name of Brexit, there would still be absolutely no connection between him and the Brexit campaign.

Because Brexit is a peaceful policy. The actions of a few misguided individuals in no way reflect on Brexit. In fact, such violence is a perversion of Brexit and a perversion of national sovereignty. Instead, Britain should focus on the Remain campaign and how their rhetoric could provoke an ordinary person into such bitter hatred and hopelessness. Because the killer is just another one of the victims. One fed hate not by Brexit, which is a campaign of peace and inclusiveness, but of the polarization of British culture as a whole.

We need to ask what kind of culture allows such impressionable people such easy access to guns and knives, and what kind of culture drives such people to commit such horrible acts. Many are too quick to judge him based on his illusory and contradictory ties to the Brexit campaign, as if that would explain anything. Many more want to condemn all the Brexit supporters, looking to confirm their darkest fantasies about the others in their midst, painting them as relics filled with ancient, primitive hatreds and fears of Britain united with Europe.

But make no mistake. Although this attacker swore allegiance to Brexit in high school, and screamed their slogan during the attack, his motivation will remain forever unknown. Perhaps he was upset by women wearing pants. Perhaps he felt let down by a mental health system that treated him with less than the dignity he deserved. Perhaps he was just reaching out to make a connection that is no longer a part of British life. We may never know.

An element of Brexit supporters do so for xenophobic reasons, generally the far right element, of which this guy clearly has an association.

Male, socially isolated and considered a little bit weird but harmless by their neighbours and families, no criminal record, spending too much time on the web surfing conspiracy sites and right-wing blogs. Damn, a few months ago, I was on a weird trip myself. Problems with my job, my father in the hospital, winter depression, my extreme leftist coworkers (Antifa people) got on my nerves and I wanted to piss them off, fuck the planet anyway, etc... I became obsessed with this whole muslim immigration thing, started surfing weird sites, my views became more and more extreme. It was pathological, I was compensating. Thank Cthulhu someone finally told me to get a grip and I took a break from the media and the web, I quit my job, I took long walks and started interacting with real, more balanced people again. Now let the trolling begin, I don't care.

His entire family, paretns, siblings all say he was quiet, helpful, nonviolent, and never expressed a political opinion. Now they tell us he murdered an MP in the street and shouted "Britain First" and gave his name as "Death to traitors, freedom for Britain" in court. Uh-huh.

Globalists, terrified of Britain leaving the EU, orchestrated this in order to try to stop the exit and guilt people into voting to stay. From their POV a human sacrifice to preserve their world order is absolutely acceptable, Jo Cox was a completely expendable asset to use to keep their system together, at all costs.
