As for that woman conflating physical gender and psychological gender. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Your DNA certainly does inform your gender, but there most definitely a psychological component as well. I don't think she was conflating anything, but more like explaining to the audience the nuance of the situation because JR has a diverse audience that includes people on the right like OF who may not understand these things.

As for gender norms and learned behavior, eh, I played with my cousin's baby dolls as a kid and I'm heterosexual. My family is dominated by women. I grew up around women. I think we might find that some of that is just mumbo jumbo bullshit. I know I just defended psychology and I will to a certain extent, but I don't trust it completely because society and humans change quite a bit over time.
