What does detransitioning have to do with puberty suspension? If it's really a thing, then hormone blockers are a good thing.

I was trying to find an independent source for number of people who detransitioned and stumbled upon that quote I posted. I figured that post I quoted was a good summary of what Abigail Shiviel said in case anyone was interested and didn't want to watch the video I posted. Short answer to your question, nothing.

That this article is written by a trans person may be all the proof someone needs but one person’s experience does not encapsulate the whole.

No one is trying to pretend we have scientifically discovered all there is about gender dysphoria.

The only thing people are asking is to be allowed to experiment and live their lives how they see fit.

Research has shown trans women are not stronger, faster, or physically superior to cis women.

I'm not arguing against them, I just don't think children should be allowed to have hormone blockers until later on in life. I don't think that's a crazy idea. I'm not voting against their rights and I'm not trying to ban anything.

Just going off a search of trans kids who got to transition as teens in the 2010s versus ones that transitioned much older....the results speak for themselves on that.

Even if that isn't the case for everyone, there's nothing of value to be gained by forcing someone to wait till their 20s to get work done.

Hello everyone! Currently isolating because I tested positive for Covid last week and trawling the internet for something to do.

I think “trendy” is a ridiculous way to put it, but can understand an uptick in the want to delay puberty, especially FtM.
I hated the thought of, and the early years of puberty. I started my periods at 11, whilst still at primary school. Even though I knew what was happening, I found it traumatic at first.
The minute you start developing, it can feel like you are sexually objectified by the world. Some kids just aren’t ready for it. Male peers, hormone fuelled themselves, are clumsy with boundaries. Older men can gawp or get touchy feely, and it’s intimidating. It might be the way I’m remembering things, but the jump from being kid to seen as a sexual being was sharp.
I can empathise why some girls may think “transing out” of societal sexualisation is the answer nowadays. As well as dysphoria I think there probably is some answers found in there.

Your escelation of this little scenario betrays your malevolent intent. Just like the TERFs and the Pharisees, the "think of the children" masks slides right off if you talk long enough.

I tested positive for Covid last week as well, so I'm also locked up in my office (where I sleep on the couch). But in my case, I'm fairly convinced it's a false positive. I'm doing fine.
