Sounds like a lot of rules for an anarchist group.

Pretty much. They tried taking over my local polyamory group, but luckily there was enough resistance that they decided to break off into their own group. Some of them are still technically leaders in the poly group but they've all been inactive for at least the past year or two. The non-RA leader has been absent for a while too, and the group has mostly been maintained by people like me who just host events. Once this plague shit dies down I'm going to offer to take over the group. If my offer is accepted, I'm going to try to restore the group and make some changes. If it's refused I'm going to form my own group, try to convince some of the other event hosts to come with me, and let the old group die.

They don't have rules as such, but they do disassociate from and alienate people they disagree with. The label "cult" might not apply due to a technicality or two, but they definitely have a cult-like mindset.

Actually, this place is on the way to being what lefties always wind up with - having stomped out all "incorrect" thoughts, you bask in your perceived superiority and self-congratulations. At least, you do until you start fighting over who is more "woke" and "progressive" than whom. The left always eats itself. Kinda fun to watch, actually.

Please. Expound. Correct me if I'm wrong. Cuz, you know, I'm a lefty. I think my thoughts are correct. You'll have to tell me what my incorrect thoughts are and then convince me they are incorrect.

    Shrodingers liberals.
Weak, and effete, and turning into a woman from hormones in soy lattes, BUT also powerful dictators who can squeeze all the John Wayne juice out of your soul.

    It's like Biden.
Failing mentally, cowering in a photoshopped basement, but also powerful enough to kill the Christian God with his bare hands.

    That's a neat trick.

Extremists eat themselves. Extremists often feel that extremism is the only state of being, and that if one isn't also an extremist on their side, they must be an extremist on the other side. Also feeding into this is that extremists tend to be the loudest voices, so they look like the majority.

Everyone would be much better off if the more reasonable people on both sides started telling the extremists on their side to shut the fuck up and to stop acting like a bunch of dumbasses and embarrassing everybody. But we don't, because every time one of us tries the extremists get all fired up like they're good at and intimidate the non-extremists into shutting up.

And this attitude is why assholes like Storm and Sokar choked the life force outta this place.

Are y'all really gonna say protecting Sokar's "speech" to bash Muslims was worth having people like Linda and Nick Walczak walk away in disgust? And of course, Storm's Nazi colors came out the woodwork.

Think of something, some idea or policy that you disagree with. Whether it’s outright horrible like nazism or meaningless like which way the toilet paper goes on the roll. If it makes you mad or summons a need to respond, it’s an incorrect thought.
