Hey now, Wordforge has a long tradition of allowing entertaining duels. Heck, most members can spot a dual straight away. Like you did. That said, the account has been banned.

Seriously, Lanz, did you just get tired of the slow decline and decide to push the place into TK? Keep the bullshit front and center of the RR and that's exactly what you get.

He's decided to become a shrill prophet against guns. That guy who goes around bashing people over the head with his metaphorical holy bible. It's best if you just ignore him by skipping past the threads (I know, there's a shit ton of them), or put him on ignore. Eventually he'll get the message, and even if he doesn't, he'll lose any credibility he had here and become the next baba clone.

"If you don't do 'X' Wordforge will become Troll Kingdom" is a well worn prediction/appeal. And one that has consistently proven to be without merit.

Merging Chad's threads is unwarranted, even more so today than yesterday. Your protests only add fuel to a dying fire.

Here's an idea for people so bothered by Chad's threads: start your own threads. If they are interesting, they'll push his off the first page quickly enough.

I agree with Anc that the threads should be merged, or at least moved to a subforum.

Chad is seriously spamming up WF. It's not like we get a lot of new blood in here anyway, but if you were a newbie who happened to stumble on this place, would you want to stick around an obvious Liberal Gun Control BBS? 'cause that's what Chad's folly makes us seem like. Not a balanced set of forums, not a general discussion site, not anything to be interested in unless you like to debate gun violence/control. It falsely represents us!

And frankly, it's extremely boring! I know it makes me not want to come here anymore. I sure as hell don't feel like having to wade through all of Chad's crap threads to try to find any good stuff.

And honestly, I don't see the point. Who does he think will change their mind? IMO all his posting diarrhea is doing is numbing me to any mention of gun violence.

Nautica makes some very good points, particularly about the majority POV being misrepresented by calls for rational gun laws. The last thing WF needs on its way to becoming a gun-lovers' echo chamber is to attract more opposing voices.

Frankly, I'm surprised at the calls to censor dissenting views and to go directly to the staff about this, rather than appealing to me directly. Though, I'm not really surprised by the folks making light of these deaths in my threads. If I were a prospective member, that would make me more unlikely to join, and it's a sad commentary on members' beliefs.

I'm not forcing you to participate in or even read my threads. I am, however, open to suggestions as to which other forum I should be posting these in. The Red Room just seemed like the best fit. And I honestly look forward to going at least a day without posting any of these threads, but given the trend that's unlikely.

When other spammy cunts like Starguard went full retard in the Red Room the admin actually did their job and took care of the situation. Why not now? Chad has decided he wants to fuck up the Red Room, out spamming a spammer is not the answer, stopping the spam is.

Actually, the administration responded to the content of Starguard's posts, not the style. Are you claiming that the content offends you enough for Chad to receive censure?

I don't even see it as "liberal gun control BBS", but more as a "one guy can spam the fuck out of a forum with the same topic over and over again," which would definitely drive me away. Why talk about anything else if you think everyone only wants to talk about one thing? If I were new, I wouldn't stick around.

It that instance, it was months upon months of Cleopatra-related threads on top of his general retardation as a poster that got him kicked off the board. I don't know what the final nail in the coffin was since he was banned during my stay at Great Lakes Hotel and I'm not digging back three years to figure it out.

But the one strength WF has had if nothing else is he flexibility for the mods to use common sense for when someone is wanting to act like an asshole and shit over people's fun. There didn't used to be a rule about using information from the Blue Room to troll until it became a problem. There didn't use to be a rule again rep wars in non-trolling forums until that became an issue--then we got rid of negative value points to eliminate the problem completely.
