You do know that Ted Cruz was born to Canadian citizens who were immigrants to Canada, and one was from Cuba and not the US. White old Ted Cruz was born and raised in Canada. The only reason he is considered a citizen is because his mother is a citizen and she did not renounce her citizenship while she was living as part of the Canadian community as one of them.

Obama spent most of his life here in America and was born on American soil to an American citizen. There was never any question Obama was a citizen. Now even in the slightest. Ted was not even born on a military base to US military people like john McCain. I am not saying that as an insult, but Mccain was born in another country because of his American parent's military service so exceptions are made for that.

And really I am not all that hot on the idea that someone has to be born in the US as a citizen to be president. I think that was written in because of our history with the British, but with the way many immigrants have come to this country to be American I think some of them would make great leaders and have the ideals of American freedom and opportunity down better than some who were raised under them.

The very fact you gave him shit for it, and the birthers had to lie about things and say there was some doubt in the validity of the documents was disrespectful to him and obnoxiously racist.
