Ooh, that graphic looks like the front-end of a K'tinga-Class ship! Like Trump, hearkening back to the 60s but likely to get vaporized by history coming back to roost.
interesting! So it seems Marso is focused on Obama's qualifications based on where he was born.....but not the color of his skin! So if a no-doubt about it native born black conservative was elected president you can accurately predict Marso's response? Do tell!
Ahh, the thread that never dies! I thought I admitted my misunderstanding of the law on the whole naturalization thing ages ago, in this thread or some other. I'm sure as hell not going to go wading through a decade of posts to look for it. Anyway. Hey, if Condi Rice had run for president, I'd have voted for her. She's black and a woman- all at the same time. Obama can STILL go fuck himself. For a guy who hates the free market, he sure charges outrageous speaking fees!
Trick question: When did Hawai'i become a state, again? Take your time. And before you get cranked up for the next one of these (you've got a few more years): The Bronx is in the U.S. Really.
But for something he actually is, a popular and respected former POTUS, his fees are quite reasonable.
"Rank hypocrisy": He said he was born in Hawai'i and - SHOCKER! - it turned out he was born in Hawai'i!
I miss Obama and not having to hear about the increasing likelihood that the President may have to face criminal charges. Shit sure did go downhill fast.
Hypocrisy? Then you can point out where he spoke out against public speaking fees. Obama is very much a capitalist.
It is not hypocrisy when he does not conform to the lies you made up about him. It is not his fault you look like an ass for believing and promoting such an obvious falsehood as the birther conspiracy. That is you being a gullible idiot who wanted to discredit him because he has black skin.
I am sure marso totally hates republicans who get speaking fees and go on to lucrative corporate lobbying jobs after their retirement because we know they are all selfless and do the job because of their love or America. What a gullible asshole this @Marso dude is.
so thinking somebody might not be a legal citizen is racist? Connect those dots for me because you aren't making even a little bit of sense here.
a humorous insult! Much appreciated, but I'd rather have my question answered. If Marso at the time didn't want Obama as a president because of his questionable citizenship (but not his race) then how could that be racist? And I have often said (even in this thread earlier today if memory serves me) that I think Obama was a great president. And that is racist how exactly? Show your work.
When it is only a black president you do it to then yes it makes you prejudiced. Especially when we all know Obama needed to produce proof of citizenship for his college, license, work history, loans, and to register to run for the senate and when he registered to run for president. Who the fuck do you think you are that he has to come and prove to you specifically he was born here when you accept that every other president proved it to our government officials when they started to run? You are nothing but an old racist, and a gullible one at that. Where the fuck were you asking for the Donald's birth certificate, or even complaining when it is clear he was working with the Russians along with his whole team? When was Kenya even a concern for American security?
The question was answered way before he ran, and it was even answered in court who laughed at the racists you defend. You are suh a racist asshole for even thinking that excuse covers you and your birther idiots.
No one should waste their time answering your question, because it was answered a decade ago by actual government agencies who were given permission to show Obama's long form certificate, which you had no right to see, but was done so it could all be put to rest. It was repeatedly proven that he is a citizen of the United States. If you don't believe it after all of this time, then you're either fucking stupid or fucking racist. Pick one.
I'm not a fucking birther! Do try...just try....to keep up! I honestly don't give a fuck where any president was born. If you live here most of your life, that's good enough for me but I don't make the laws. Now for what really blows my mind: "When it is only a black president you do it to then yes it makes you prejudiced." - Tererun When the living fuck would I have ever had the opportunity to question any other president's legitimacy, genius? I can't think of any president in my voting experience who wasn't no doubt about it born right here in the continental united states! And think hard now - have I ever had a chance to say anything about a 1/2 black president before considering Obama was the first one? Damn you are so hung up on thinking others are hung up on race that your brain is fried!
I didn't. The word "questionable" isn't there - read it again. So since your mind isn't 100 percent today let me explain this: if no other president (since I turned 18 and could vote) was ever born outside the US then they would never be suspected of being foreign born. There would be no debate in that area. Does this make sense to you?
Admittedly I'm not on form today, but you did use the word "questionable", it's right there in the quote.... I'm not suggesting you're racist, never have. Just questioning your use of that terminology.
You do know that Ted Cruz was born to Canadian citizens who were immigrants to Canada, and one was from Cuba and not the US. White old Ted Cruz was born and raised in Canada. The only reason he is considered a citizen is because his mother is a citizen and she did not renounce her citizenship while she was living as part of the Canadian community as one of them. Why did you not want to see the Canadian birth certificate Ted Cruz actually has? You were never interested in this man's citizenship to run for president. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Cruz Obama spent most of his life here in America and was born on American soil to an American citizen. There was never any question Obama was a citizen. Now even in the slightest. Ted was not even born on a military base to US military people like john McCain. I am not saying that as an insult, but Mccain was born in another country because of his American parent's military service so exceptions are made for that. And really I am not all that hot on the idea that someone has to be born in the US as a citizen to be president. I think that was written in because of our history with the British, but with the way many immigrants have come to this country to be American I think some of them would make great leaders and have the ideals of American freedom and opportunity down better than some who were raised under them. The very fact you gave him shit for it, and the birthers had to lie about things and say there was some doubt in the validity of the documents was disrespectful to him and obnoxiously racist.
