Well if we are going to throw out blogs of crap here's one...... Did James Comey Cover Up a Massive and Illegal FBI-CIA Spying Operation? http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/james-comey-cover-massive-illegal-fbi-cia-spying-operation/
If it were Hoover, there would be tapes. Also, what happened to the days of keeping tapes in the Oval Office?
It's funny how nobody's talking about Loretta Lynch. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jun/13/donald-trump-accuses-loretta-lynch-making-illegal-/
Trump can't simply fire Mueller, it's up to Congress and there has to be a legitimate reason in writing.
there is a distinct and specific difference between "Comey made a terrible and costly miscalculation" and "Comey should be fired" That said, if Obama had fired Comey over his choices (both of them) in the Clinton matter after the election, it would have at least been a specific "for cause" firing (as opposed to an effort to obstruct justice) and, let's not fool ourselves, Republicans would have been outraged.
Trump absolutely can fire Mueller. Trump is head of the executive branch. Mueller works for the DOJ as he was appointed by the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein. Mueller was not appointed by Congress. Now don't get me wrong it would be a tremendously stupid thing to do and probably be the one thing to guarantee Trump can kiss 2020 goodbye but legally he could fire him.
Congress would just bring back the special prosecutor act and then appoint Mueller. They would have to do so and I suspect Mueller was the unnamed source behind today's revelation that Trump is under investigation for obstruction of justice. Trump had been trial ballooning firing Mueller so this makes a huge obvious pitfall for him if he does that plus furthers the obstruction of justice case against him.
Because trying to get the FBI director to use a different word in a statement is EXACTLY the same as trying to get him to drop an investigation. If Trump got into a car and mowed down a crowd of pedestrians, you people would start shrieking "How come nobody's talking about that time Obama hit a squirrel?"
http://time.com/4828306/russian-hacking-election-widespread-private-data/ Russians attempted to delete or alter voter roll information in several states; in at least one case they did succeed in altering voting rolls. Also stolen voter information was passed on to members of the Trump campaign before it was released on the internet. Houston, we have collusion.
Oh, we have confirmed that everything was personally ordered by Putin. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/vladimir-putin-gave-direct-instructions-help-elect-donald-trump-report/
Most wondered why Comey took it upon himself *twice* to blab about things publicly when it wasn't his place or common practice [bold, above]. Comey opening his mouth publicly to blah blah about the investigation is now, apparently, doubly-curious, given the timing. Political animal, indeed; hope they get more info about this, seems a curious chronology for such a tall fellow.
given that it's now crystal clear there was no criminality there, the politics of it are more in Comey's trying so hard in the first statement to say "she was really really bad even if we can't charge her"- like he's pandering to the political views of his fellow Republicans so they don't come after him.
60 minutes does a great job with their interviews and the country needs more of their long format indepth interviews on topics. It cuts through the sound bites and really drills down into topics.
https://www.axios.com/mueller-haunts-the-west-wing-2484317509.html More evidence that Mueller is going in for the kill while a wounded Trump administration has been desperately trying to smear and slander both Trump and Comey in the media.
Um, you might need to edit your post, because as is, it's hilarious and would be a perfect epitaph for the administration.
Even neo-Nazi shills get it right once in a while. Just like how you're occasionally able to get something right.
What IS it with Americans and the genderfluid use of "Dana" as a first name?! I mean, Ghostbusters put the mental image of Dana in my head as Sigourney Weaver, and then news articles like this come along and they're always old, white wrinkly politicians like Boente or Rohrabacher, ffs. Were you TRYING to invent the anti-Viagra?
