Could it be that we are so old that we have outlived our usefulness?

I don't think so. We've always had a mixture of good threads, :drama: threads, and :spam: threads. The :spam: and :drama: have dominated lately, but that will change. There is a pretty good discussion (and a bit of :dayton:) in the "Abolish Public Schools" thread.

Trick question, the real answer is "How would I know the details of my mom's sex life?"

The Brits have a much more open society gul, it's not your place to pass judgement based on your puritanical New England values regarding Dan and his mum's sex life.

I'm not telling them to stop whatever sick and perverted acts they enjoy, just commenting that it's not my cup of tea. Dan and his mother can do whatever they want in the bedroom, but I'm still gonna say :vomit:

Dan, is this by any chance your mum? If so it would go a long way towards explaining your relationship. :?:

Did they remake The Graduate or did she perform in a play of it in England?

Anyway, that ain't Kathleen Turner unless that is the worst picture of her in existence.

Anne Bancroft in the film, Kathleen Turner in the London stage revival.

And not only do I have about four screens open, I'm not wearing my glasses. I'll take Lt Mewa's word for it... ;)

Kathleen Turner was in the stage version. I'm not sure if it's her though.

Edit: Damn Lurker got there first.

She did Cat on a Hot Tin Roof some years back on Broadway. This was before playing Chandlers dad.

The play was pretty good. Its a good play if the right people are in it.

At the risk of derailing a perfectly good Dan thread to address the initial topic, I would suggest a different quote; one that you degenerate English should be well aware of, since it comes from a letter we sent to your buggering king a couple hundred years back. It begins with:
